I am over 39 weeks pregnant now. Our little girl Nayeon is almost ready to arrive. Me and Namjoon and Namjae can't wait to meet her so much. Namjoon is away for a few days in Tokyo doing sound BTS promo. It's something he couldn't really turn down. I know he didn't want to go with me being so close to my due date. Hopefully Nayeon will hang on in there for the next few days till he comes home. I'm home with Namjae. He's been great. Making me drinks and getting me stuff and telling me to rest. Awwww he's so sweet and adorable. Namjoon keeps checking in with me regularly to see how things are. He's the best husband in the world. Namjae and I are sitting on the couch cuddling. It's evening after dinner so we'll be heading to bed soon. "Eomma I love you so much" Namjae said. "I love you so much too, my darling" I reply. "I can't wait till Nayeon is here" he said. "Well it won't be long now. Wait do you feel her kicking now" I say. "Yes. Hi, Nayeon" Namjae said resting his head on my bump. That's my boy. Love him so much. We sit for a little longer. Nayeon is still moving around and kicking. Wait I think that was just a contraction. I don't want to scare or worry Namjae. "Are you okay, Eomma?" he asked. "Yes I'm okay" I say. I was timing the contractions in my head. "Namjae, stay calm for mommy please. I need you to stay calm for me please. Can you call Auntie Soyeon and tell her I need her to cone over?" I say. "Okay, mommy. What's the matter?" Namjae asks. "The baby is coming. I need her to take me to the hospital" I reply. We are lucky that my best friend only lives a street away from us. I call Namjoon and tell him I've gone into labor. He said he's going to be here as soon as he can. When Soyeon arrived my waters just broke. I think it freaked Namjae a little. "I'm here, Y/ N. Don't panic" she said. "Hey. My waters just broke" I reply. Soyeon finds my bags and we go to the hospital. She's going to stay with me until Namjoon arrives and then take Namjae back to her place for the night. My parents don't live near so I am thankful for my best friend right now
A couple of hours later and Namjoon is on a plane from Tokyo to Seoul. It's not too long. Hopefully he'll make it and be here soon with me. Don't want him to miss the birth of our daughter. Soyeon is still with me and will be till Namjoon is here. He should be in around midnight or just after. Little Namjae is getting sleepy. He's falling asleep in Soyeon's arms. "You should take him home. I'll honestly be okay here till Joon arrives" I say. "No, Y/ N. I'm boy leaving your side. Namjae will be okay. I want to be here when Namjoon arrives" Soyeon said. "Okay" I reply. The midwife comes in to check on me again. She checks my dilation and the baby's heartbeat. "Baby's heartbeat seems to be dropping a little. I need to get the doctor" she said. "Oh okay" I say. She calls the doctor in and she takes a look herself. "Yes the baby's heartbeat is dropping slightly. We might have to do a c section if it gets any lower" the doctor said. "I don't want a c section till my husband I here. Please don't" I say. She gives me a reassuring smile. Soyeon checks on Namjoon and I think he's about an hour away. Hopefully Nayeon's heartbeat won't drop too much in that time. Soyeon and Namjae stayed with me till he arrived. The doctor came back in just under an hour later to check again. "Her heartbeat seems to have dropped a bit more. I don't feel confident leaving things. It's best if we do a c section now" she said. "Okay but what about Namjoon" I say. "Don't worry he's literally here now I think" Soyeon said. She's checking the tracker on her phone. A few minutes later they take me through to the operating room. Soyeon leaves with Namjae as they weren't allowed in. As I was being wheeled into theatre, I hear Namjoon's voice. "I'm here, Y/ N" he said. "Joonie, you're here. I'm having a c second. Our little girls heartbeat is dropping" I say. "Can you please stand back, sir? We need to get her in" the doctor said. "Please this is my wife. I need to be with her" he said. They let Namjoon into theatre with me. He needed to be there and didn't want to miss the birth of our daughter. They get me prepped and under sedation soon. Namjoon sits by my side and holds me hand and smiles at me. They tell me when they cut into me. It was a little time before baby Nayeon was born
We didn't get to see Nayeon right after she was born as she had to be taken to be checked over as her heart rate wasn't good during labor so they had to make sure she was okay before handing her to us. "She's here. Our beautiful little girl is here" Namjoon said. I was still under anaesthetic but I could still hear him. I got taken out of the operating room and into a room so I could recover. The anaesthetic wore off pretty quick. About an hour later, we got to see baby Nayeon for the first time. We were anxious and worried waiting to know about her but everything's fine with her heart rate now. It was just a little struggle to be born for her. The midwife handed her straight to me on my bare chest. "She's so gorgeous, Y/ N" Namjoon said straight away. "She is, Namjoon. Our beautiful little girl" I smile. "Hi, Nayeon. I'm your daddy. Ah" he said. Namjoon got to hold her a little later. "You're going to be a be a daddy's girl I think. You have a big brother at home who's dying to meet you, sweet Nayeon" he said. I smile. Nayeon closed her sweet little eyes and fell asleep. Our sweet little girl is here and she's gorgeous. We can't wait to get her home. Hopefully we will tomorrow. Namjae can't wait to meet his little sister
