Meanwhile, back in earth
A helicopter flew through the air. It raced over the mountains, and to a S.H.I.E.L.D base....
Where a evacuation was being ordered
Trucks zoomed ( I felt like a kid for a hot second again) through the parking lot, out of the base, filled with secret weapons, materials, and other scientific stuff I can't describe ( did I just break the fourth wall?)
" all personnel, the evacuation order has been confirmed. " a agent over the P.A said
He continued to give orders while the helicopter continued to race over the trucks.
Down below was chaos.
Agents were shoving things into trucks, other agents were desperately trying to get everything out safely, and the people too.
Meanwhile the chopper began to land
And out came Zeus, the director of S.H.E.I.L.D, And Hera his right hand woman ( I dunno)
Agent Poseidon was waiting for them.
" how bad is it" Zeus said
" thats the problem sir, we don't know" Poseidon said
they went inside and got into a elevator. as the elevator went down, Poseidon began to explain
" Dr. Selvig read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago"
" NASA didn't authorize Selvig to go to test phase" Zeus responded
" he wasn't testing it. he wasn't even in the room. Spontaneous event."
" it just turned its self on?" Hera asked
" where are the energy levels at now?" Zeus said
" Climbing." Poseidon said " when Selvig couldn't shut it down, we ordered evac."
" how long to get everyone out?"
" Campus should be clear in the next half hour" Poseidon said
" do better"
" sir, evacuation may be futile" Hera said
" we should tell them to go back to sleep?"
" if we can't control the Tesseracts energy, there may not be a minimum safe distance"
" i need you to make sure the Phase 2 prototypes are shipped out" Zeus said, ignoring what Hera just said
" Sir, is that really a priority right now?"
" until such time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on" Zeus said " clear out the tech below, every piece of Phase 2 on a truck and gone"
" yes sir" Hera sighed " with me" she said to some agents who were just standing around even tho they ordered evac.
Zeus walked to where Selvig was. " talk to me doctor" he said
Selvig looked up " director" he said
" is there anything we know for certain?"
" the Tesseract is misbehaving" Selvig said
