The smile

I got up and walked to Archer and he was looking at something, something I couldn't see at all.
"Archer, what do you see?" I asked, he lifted up his head and he sighed, "it's nothing. I just thought I saw something, that was coming, wait did he see something far away! Wow, he must have good eyesight to see that far,

"What is it you just see? I asked leaning on the tree. He got up and smile softly "well let's just say it's something that must not be mentioned okay?" He began to walk back to the castle. "H-hey wait up!" I began to run to keep up with him,

"I don't want to go back to the castle! I want to do more outdoors!" Archer stopped walking and he turned to me, "well what would you like to do?"

"Well... I tapped on my chin, I really wanted to go horseback riding. That's a thing I always wanted to do. Archer nodded his head and we went to the stable, "I'm going to teach you to ride, and in no time you will be riding like a professional," we walked in and a young boy at the age of ten looked at us and smiled as he picked up some hay and put it in the stall. "What can I do for you today?" The boy asked as he wiped the sweat from his forehead,

"I'd like to ride a horse if there's one available," I smiled softly, the boy looked at me with a slight smile and he nodded his head, "I will get you one right away, oh and have you ever rode a horse before?"

"No I'm going to teach her how to ride," Archer said as he stood beside me, I looked at him and nodded my head "yep! And I'm really nervous but also happy at the same time," I gave my arm a little pinch,

The boy sighed and walked away to get the horse, the horse was huge it had a dapple coat and a white mane, I looked at the horse and I gasped "this horse is really pretty!" I exclaimed and I walked to the horse to pet its muzzle,

The horse snorted, the boy put the horse in the stall, I asked if he needed help but he said no I'm capable of doing this myself!" I just wanted to help but I did understand if he didn't, after he was done he got the horse outside, and Archer and I went outside, the boy gave me the reins, once he got back he got me a stool for me to get on, he put the stool down and he waited for me to get on, I did and I gave the reins to Archer and he started to walk and the horse followed,

Once we got to the paddock Archer still held the reins when we walked for a bit, he looked at me "are you ready to take a small lesson?" I looked at him with wide eyes then I nodded, he gave me the reins and I took them. "So how do I make the horse move?" I looked at him, "squeeze your legs together and the horse will start moving, I nodded my head and the horse began to walk Archer was walking beside the horse, "okay now I want you to walk all around the paddock and back,"

"Oh um okay... I hesitated and went, the horse snorted and ate some grass along the way, just then when we were almost to Archer the horse got spooked and began to run really fast, Archer's eyes widened as he ran to the horse, and just like that I fell right off the horse right on my side,

"Zathura!" Archer ran over me and helped me up, "are you alright?" His voice sounded Stressed and worried,

"I-I'm fine I just fell off it's no big problem," I began to walk and I fell down again, "I think you hurt yourself..." Archer helped me up again and we went back to the castle, I sat on the couch and Archer put an ankle  brace there that should do it," I smiled softly "thanks you really helped and I appreciate it,"

"Well thank goodness you weren't that hurt... I would get in big trouble if you broke something, Archer mumbled and looked at the fireplace,

I sighed and nodded my head "yeah I don't know how long this war is going to last... maybe a year?

"Yeah they usually last that long," Archer threw a log in the fire,

"Do you think you will get married, Archer?" I asked and I grabbed a cushion,

"I'm not really of a get married guy, I like doing things by my self and I don't have to worry if anything happens,"

"So that's why Declan chose you to take care of me when he gets back?"

Archer nodded his head, "I see I sighed and I put the cushion down,

I got up and I went to my room, once I opened the door I jumped on my bed and I stayed there and I didn't come out till I got hungry,

I got out and I went to the kitchen and I grabbed some  cheesecake, just then I felt a hand grab my wrist I quickly  turned around and I saw Archer, "you can't have cheesecake for dinner, he put the cheesecake down, "dinner is ready the king told me to tell you, "

I nodded my head and I followed him to the dining room, once  we got there I sat down and Archer sat on the other chair beside me,  Archer and I started to talk about things, a few times I burst out laughing,  Archer laughed a little as well but he didn't show that much of emotion of this laugh, but it was mostly   Of his smile,
