Epilogue 1

Sofia

Ya Allah!

Why me?

He left me, when he promised to stay forever.

I cried as I shouted my vocal out.

It couldn't be, he could never leave me.

He promised and he had broken his promise.

No one could fill the void of my husband.

I wouldn't be able to hear his laughter, his voice.

He was my rock.

He left me alone.

Everything was numbed, I didn't feel anything, it was like a part of me was dead with him. I was losing myself to the abyss of darkness, I was wallowing to the darkest part of me.

But where you now?, I whispered to no one as I stared at the gloomy sky which matched my feelings.

It had been 2months since he left but I was still thinking of him and living in the past with his memories. I still hope he will come back to me and tell me, it's a prank. I missed you.

«Death is our friend and foe.

But we don't want to know that.

All that we think is, it is a homewrecker.

A Place where death visits.

The place darkened and the aura changed to gloomy.

Death and humans are strangers, but when it is time to taste death, it becomes our friends.

Death becomes our friend irrespective of our; image, age, race, complexion, religion, height, attitude, popularity...

When it's our time.

Death doesn't care whether humans are prepared or not.

It takes the child away from the elder.

The wife leaves the husband.

The mother leaves the baby.

Takes brother, leaves sister.

Vice versa

Death visit when it's human time, without asking or given permission to take.

It doesn't give a warning.

It either takes gently or roughly

Aggressively or calmly.

Death leaves a great scar on each and every one of us when it takes our loved ones.

Our memories with the dead would become a treasure.

We will keep it till that same death visits us too.

It can never be erased or stolen.

No matter how you try not to remember, it surfaces when least expected.

The more you try to forget, the more you remember.

We will be thinking how, why, when, did it happen.

Death is heartless, cruel, why did it take our loved ones!.

But we already know it is their time, but we try to reason with it but it is impossible.

When death takes our loved ones, we will be sad, upset, destabilised living dead, broken, betrayed and furious. But it's natural.

The memories can never be stolen, it would be imprinted on our brain, especially if we witness how our loved ones taste to death.

The lifeless cold body.

The moment they gasped for the last breath.

The memory will be hurt and taunting

It becomes our great nightmare sometimes.

Even though the person is our enemy.

Death never hears plead, when it is time, it takes.

It takes it in the blink of an eye.

It never hears, comes back I'm not ready

Or take me, I'm ready.

We don't believe in death until it happens to our loved ones.

We will say we understand the feeling until it happens to us.

Death is time.

Time is death.

It works with time, spend your time wisely, cherish, share, use it before it's too late, because you never know when last, you will talk or see them before they taste to death and start blaming and regretting.

Death is true

Not illusion

It comes and goes

It takes and leaves

Till there remains nothing left.

We will all taste to death but the way or cause of death might be different.

And one day, death would also taste himself».
