3rd Person Pov
In a crowded and overly noisy pub sat a boy with a cloak and hood on his head and accompanying him was a skinny man with a bandana covering one of his eyes
Believe it or not but these two guys were not the weirdest looking people in the pub, you might even call them the normal ones in the room
The small establishment was owned by a devil and all sorts of weird looking motherfuckers were getting piss drunk. But the only thing that this bunch of weirdos had in common was the fact that they all had the power to fight, if push came to shove... okay thats a lie...
These guys got aggravated quickly... like really quickly
Anyway we go back to our protagonist and his saviour who didn't draw attention to themselves at all, except for the fact that Shinra was stuffing his face with enough food and ale to last a lifetime
Joker:"Keep eating like that and you're gonna choke"
Shinra just grunted in response but he didn't show any signs of slowing down
Joker just shook his head at this but he just let the boy be
After gorging himself Shinra was more than satisfied as well as a little bit intoxicated
Joker:"You done eating kid?"
Shinra:"Hai! Thank you for the meal"
Joker:"You really went all out once you found out that I was the one paying huh?"
Shinra just scratched his head and chuckled in embarresment as Joker sighed at his response
Joker:"Let's go kid. Staying in a devil town could get you caught again" he said while giving the money for the meal to a passing waitress
Cringing at the mention of being imprisoned once more, Shinra quickly got up and followed Joker out the pub
Shinra:"So where do you suggest that I live since I should stay away from towns"
Joker:"Isn't it obvious? You did land at the edge of a forest"
Shinra:"Oooohhh... but I don't know how to survive in the wild"
Joker:"You'll figure it out. Anyway that forest that you saw earlier is one of the popular places to go hunting, so if you do encounter devils try to avoid them"
Shinra:"Ok, but I wanna know where I am. Cause I know that I'm not on Earth but I don't know exactly where I am"
Joker:"Damnit here comes the history lesson. I'll explain everything to you while we make our way to the forest" he said in his monotonous voice
Shinra Pov
Joker then expalined that we were in another dimension
(I might be wrong but just go with it)
Contrary to popular belief hell, or the underworld, is not underneath the Earth but is in another dimension completely. Hell was basically a Mid-evil society that ran on an older hierachy, kings, queens, nobles and all that shit
The development of hell is behind the one of Earth's due to the Great War that the three factions, devils, fallen angels and angels, were involved in
But hell was still hell so a huge portion of it is dedicated to the dead. Plus I found out that there were other races such as kitsunes and nekomatas but most of them are wiped out today
There were also sacred gears, gifts that the now dead God bestowed onto the human race. Apparently I had a powerful one but Joker didn't want to get into deatils about it
