Chapter 26

Y/n Pov 

I woke up in the morning with Erza in my arm I felt her brush over my hair. "Y/n lets get up, today is something really cool about to start" I looked at her and rubbed my eyes a little "What do you mean?" I asked while moving a hand over my hair. 

She smiled at me "the Magnolia race event, it's a week full of races, a national day the king himself is there to watch it. And you can try to beat the four kings and the street king, if you get to challenge them that is, I think your car might get you up to it. Your father and my mother know the event very well, they are the two biggest sponsors. My mother even was one of the former kings in it, she was called the Scarlet Despair as no one could beat her except my father who later died in a car accident." Erza said while she still smiled at me happily. "She has no idea how her father died" I thought since Irene told me it.

I looked at Erza caressing her cheek "Sure I will do it how am I going to participate?" I asked and sat up. 

"You already are, your father got you up on it and wants you to win it, it's a prestige race he's one of the sponsors and since you are his son you will drive in it" She said giving a thumbs up. 

I looked at Erza in surprise. "Do I have time or do we need to drive now?" I asked as I looked at the clock. I heard the door flung open and Natsu stand in it. "Erza, Jellal we need to go to the track week now, we're almost late!" He franaticaly yelled while putitng on his shirt backwards. 

Erza and I both jolted up and she took her heels while I got my shoes. We all ran to our five cars Laxus, Gray's, Natsu's Grajeel's and mine got on the road and we went to the Magnolia race track. 

I saw Erza use a brush to get her hair pretty and a Lipgloss to make her look better, the road wasn't bumpy. I slowed down a bit to let her finish, she was done soon and I took off to the race track, following Natsu with Lucy in his car.

Erza Pov 

I saw the race track full of cars and my mothers tend, I was in it too since she's a sponsor as well and I like racing. "Everyone take a look at Y/n Fullbuster in his Alfa Romeo GTA he's the son of Storm Fullbuster!" The announcer yelled trough the speakers. 

I heard the crowd cheer at him and give him space. Y/n drove to the spot he was told to and I saw his father sit on a chair writing stuff and taking pictures with fans he was the former street king but isn't racing since more then seven years yet people still know him and respect him. 

We both got out of his car and Storm greeted his son. "You got your Grid Girl already?" He asked raising an eyebrow. 

I smiled lightly "No mister Fullbuster I'm not, I want to get the title myself" I said and gave a challenging glare at Jellal. 

He smiled back "See you in the finals then Erza" He said and waved at me I nod. "Don't you dare to lose before getting to the street king Jellal!" I said with a serious voice while I pointed towards him with my finger. I saw him smile "With this car I won't" He retorted and chuckled lightly. 

I walked to the tend of my mother and got ready for it. The race was official so I had to wear a race suit and helmet.

Y/n Pov

"Who are the race kings that I have to beat?" I asked my father with a questioning look. He smiled at me "Number five is The Fire Dragon Drift King. Number four is The Ice Demon Grip King. Number three is The Metalhead Drag King. Number two is The Titania Speed King. Number one is The Thunder God Street king." He explained while showing me the chart. 

I smiled "It sounds like they are tough opponents" he nod. "They are unbeaten they didn't lose a race and got up in no time, You need Grid Girls for your car." He said with a slight smirk. "And get your ass into the race suit! And wear this helmet." He demanded while throwing me it.
