FULL TITLE: DONT WORK IN A RESTAURANT UNLESS ITS LITERALLY THE ONLY PLACE THAT WILL HIRE YOU.this server really had the audacity to bitch me out for asking for tip share when its literally in the job description that its mandatory
like sorry ???? sundays are always slow ???
the conversation was literally
me: hi, can i please get tip share when ur not busy?
server: i'm on togo.
manager: but you served earlier?
server: well sorry, my sales were only $40!( which is literally impossible because i sat her six times when i got there and each bill is average $20, not counting the hour where i wasn't on )
then she went off about how she didn't know what her sales were so how was she gonna tip me? basically making a whole scene in the kitchen and its not even just going towards me bc i have to split tips with the other host who needs the money more than me
and i Hate being yelled at. it gives me such bad anxiety and i feel so stupid for almost crying but i held it in and went to get the change for the $10 she gave me
literally her exact words were: "here's a $10. you get $2 so i want eight back."
like YES I KNOW BASIC MATH
she was trying to justify herself by saying "i bussed most of my tables" like MA'AM thats in UR JOB DESCRIPTION i am the glorified buss boy solely for covid and was saying that "they never ask" YA BC IM SCARED OF MOMENTS LIKE THIS HAPPENING
i ofc felt bad but knew she was only gonna freak out more if i denied it so i took the money, made sure she saw me go into the office and add it to the pile of money for the other girl
my manager was like "dont let them push u around" easier said than done!
and it didn't help i had to wait for a ride for ten minutes in the togo area so it was just the two of us 🤪🤡🥰🔫
so that was my day, how was urs?
im also transferring so cant wait to pay like $200 to send applications and send transcripts 🤡🤡🤡 denial town here i come
gonna sleep for 8 years might fuck around and skip class tomorrow
( i'll probably delete this in an hour so if u saw this, no u didnt ❤️ )
