I sat there listening to hawk and them talking basically zoning out thinking about what was up next I snapped out of it when I heard ban's voice
"I can sure use a drink captain " Ban says and sits at the bar
"don't you think it's a little bit early for that" I said
"would you like to have some breakfast with us" Elizabeth says
"you don't actually expect me to eat the captain's awful cooking do you" he says
"if you don't like it then make it yourself" Meliodas says throwing a liquor bottle to Ban
"don't mind if I do" he says and opened the liquor bottle causing it to splatter all over his face and I laughed
"Alright guys time to head for the necropolis we'll start looking for king there" Meliodas says pointing to a map he put on the table
"hold on didn't you say fatty was 6 feet under these days" Ban says and I smack him upside his head
"don't call him that" I said and he pulled him on his lap
"I'm not sorry" he says
"it's our only lead we got so I think we mind as well check it out" Meliodas says
"the city of the dead sounds scary what kind of place is it" Elizabeth ask
"I have no idea honestly the only thing I know about it is that it exist" Meliodas says Hawk starts talking about how the place may be haunted
"there won't be any bugs right" Diane says I ignore their conversation and turn to Ban who was passed out
After we arrive Meliodas says how we should bring in people so they can get information Ban bolted so I followed him
"let me guess you're not gonna help" I said following him
"I think the old captain lost his mind what kind of info does he expect us to pick up in a gloomy dump like this" Ban says
"hopefully we do find something" I said and we continued walking
"man oh man this joint is seriously run down" Ban says I look around when I saw this little girl she was short and had yellow hair
"Elain-" I heard Ban say and the little girl turned around "sorry about that that couldn't possible be her" he says and the little girl falls
"oh my god" I said and ran towards her
"Hey..c'mon" ban says gently hitting the little girls face and she woke up
"so are you alright" I asked her
"get your filthy hands off Ellen" a little boy yells causing us to turn around "just what do you think you're doing to my sister" he yells holding up a rake
"look kid if you're her brother and watching out for her shouldn't you make sure she's getting enough food" Ban says
"shut up! Get away and leave her alone" the boy yells
"now I'm going to ask you again are you making sure she's getting enough food or should I take her away" Ban says and the boy gets angry and charges at Ban sticking the rake in his chest
"no brother they were only trying to help me what have you done" the little girl says
"b-but I thought that" he stutters and I take the rake from him and dropped it
"I'm sorry what can I do to atone my sin sir" the boy says
"you wanna atone huh what's there to make amends for kid" Ban ask
