She watched as the rain pattered, and suddenly everything changed. She forgot the feeling of his kiss, because the cuts on her wrists ruined it. They were ugly, and they were his fault. Then he pulled in. He knocked on the door with his umbrella. She didn’t talk when she opened it. Instead she walked quietly towards the car. He didn’t say anything. He just sat in the drivers seat as they drove down the dark road. The rain was getting harder.

“ I’m sorry.” He’d been saying that a lot lately.

“ Okay.” He looked at her through the corner of her eye.

“ I’m really sorry.” His eyes teared up a bit. “ I hate myself for it.”

“ I hate myself because of you.” Tears rolled down his cheek.

“ I think I love you.” Then she cried, she cried loudly and it mixed with the rain. “ I’m sorry.”

“ No you’re not!” She screamed through sobs.

“ I’m so sorry!” He said loudly breaking into sobs and looking at her.

“ You ruined me!” She yelled and the last thing she saw was a bright light and blood splattered on the car window.
