Payton's POV

"Do you want to play with us?" Nathan asks, "No, thanks." I smiled at him.

Blake and Nathan are playing football in our backyard. Blake was responsible for picking the right house for us, and that includes this huge backyard. It looks like half of a football field.

Blake sit beside me, as he catch his breath.

"He's getting good-"

"How is he playing football?" I cut him off.

He turn his head to look at me, i stared at him. "Huh?"

"Nevermind."

"No, what is it?" he says, drinking some water.

"Why does Nathan knows how to play football?" I asked, "He likes it." he quickly replied.

"No, he was into stars and moon when he was four." I look into his eyes.

"Can't you see? I bought a huge house with huge ass backyard," He stared at me.

"So, he could play things like this. I'm not letting him grow up with just stars, moon and planets, it's boring." he says, "But he's too young-"

"Baby, it's just kicking a ball." he says as he leave me behind and walk towards Nathan.

He never played football.

He never did.

"What's good, homie." I look up and see Dixie walk towards me.

"Hey." I greeted.

As I clean up the mess they made, Dixie step closer.

"I saw your husband playing football now." she winks.

"I just don't understand," I stop picking up the scratch papers from the painting session they had. "Blake doesn't have any background about sports."

"I mean he can play, it's a good workout routine kinda." She says sitting down.

"I heard that Anthony always took Nathan to a babysitter," I said as she stared at me.

"And?"

"Maybe, the babysitters taught Nathan how to play." I said smiling awkwardly.

"Babysitters? There are two of them?" she asks, i nodded.

"How come there's two babysitters?"

"I don't know, Nathan told me they babysit Trevor too."

She just nods.

"Any information about my late boyfriend's family?" I ask.

"No." I looked at her. "What? Anthony doesn't want me to get involve." she says.

I frown. "Anthony?"

"Yes, i gotta go." she says as she leaves.

"Hey." Blake came and kissed my forehead.

He lift my chin up, "Are you okay?" he asks as I nodded.

"We better put gates here, Dixie always sneaking." he joked.

I fake laughed. "I heard that Noah's family are going here," i said as he holds my hand. "Really?"

"Yes, do you know about that?" I asked him. He looked at me, "Blake?" I snapped my fingers.

"Oh yeah...yes i do." he says, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Why do you need to know?" I sighed.

"Of course, i need to know. It's my son's family too." I step closer to him. "I just wanna know if they want to see Nathan." I said.

"Since when they care about their grandson?" he asks, he stood up.

I just stared at him.

"See, they don't."

"I just-"

"And since when did you call me by name?" He said as he left me behind.
