Pontypandy is a village in Wales (specifically South Wales). Its name is made up of Pontypridd and Tonypandy. The two cities are only 9 km apart. Pontypridd is located 19 km north of Cardiff. In the tale, Pontypandy was originally just a village next to the mountains, and from the 6th season it became a coastal fishing village. In addition, Pontypandy is located next to Newtown. In fact, Newtown is further away from both cities.
