RECREATION OF THE PAST

Bigg Boss 13 and SidNaaz both are our favourites, so here is a one-shot tale back from the Bigg Boss days. I liked many episodes, I loved some while I learnt a lot from some. The episode I am talking about is not really the one I liked rather it’s the one where I actually thought that the stupid task organised by the creatives could have been avoided because it hurted someone’s emotions badly. The very next moment I thought that it was an experience for Shehnaaz which helped her overcome the burden she was carrying for quite some time. The burden of her past...The episode I am talking about is the Weekend Ka Vaar when she was called jealous in a stupid task. So here’s the way I looked at that particular episode.

Everybody was moving around here and there in the house to get ready like crazy as today is the Weekend episode shoot. Shehnaaz is walking back and forth in the washroom area with two dresses in her hand which only Sidharth notices. He goes towards her and says, “Moti agar iss speed se rounds legi washroom area ke toh tu bohot jaldi patli ho jayegi…” Shehnaaz gets irritated on this and says, “Yaar Sidharth ek toh main itni pareshan hun ke kya pehnu aur tu ye sab mazaak leke baitha hai abhi…” She makes a cute angry face to which he smiles, hugs her from the side and says, “Acha na baby...Chid kyun rahi hai...La mujhe dikha main batata hun...Ummm...Yeh black vaali pehen…” She replies with a small smile, “Pakka na yeh vaali..Achi toh lagegi na…” Sidharth senses that today something is wrong with her mood as she was getting under confident on slightest of things. Also, she was getting irritated on small things. To lighten up her mood, he says, “Achi nahi bohot achi lagegi...Chal aaj for a change hum twinning karte hain...I’ll also wear black…” Hearing this her wide smile comes back and she says, “Haaye sachi…” Sidharth replies, “Haan toh tujhe kya lagta hai main mazak kar raha hun…” Shehnaaz replies with all her innocence, “Nahi mera vo matlab nahi tha bebu...Main toh ainvayi excitement mein boli…” Sidharth sees that her mood is again going down so he says, “Main bhi kahan seriously bola sweetheart...Chal ab jaldi jaldi ready hoja…” She nods and goes to get ready but her intuition was telling something else to her. She was feeling a little different. Though, the day goes well as she gets to meet Laxmi ma’am and goes out with Deepika ma’am. But as soon as the WKV with Salman sir starts she starts feeling very nervous and even she didn’t know why it was happening??
Everything was going good till the time Salman sir announces the task where it had to be decided who is jealous; Shehnaaz or Mahira...Everybody were taking it as a joke including Salman himself and it had to be a light-hearted task. Somewhere nobody realised how much it was hurting Shehnaaz from within. Though most housemates said that ‘jealous’ is not the right word, she is protective of Sidharth but they made a mistake. They poured in the coloured water in Shehnaaz’s heart shaped container which clearly declared her jealous at the end. Hardly anyone noticed the way she was standing during the whole task. She was standing with her face downwards and fists closed as if resisting her tears to flow and controlling her suppressed emotions to come out. She couldn’t resist her tears when Sidharth’s chance came. When Sidharth came he was in a dilemma what to do but still he explained himself that why no one is jealous and poured the water in Mahira’s container. But, after his chance finally Shehnaaz broke down when the results of the task were declared. She was in tears. She just ran to the washroom without even thinking about anyone’s presence or the ongoing shoot. Sidharth ran behind her and simply hugged her without saying a word. He wanted her to be calm before he talked to her. Meanwhile, Salman  himself entered the house and told Arti to send her to the confession room while all of them should wait outside...Shehnaaz went till there holding Sidharth’s hand tightly. When she went inside Salman told her to sit and calmly asked her, “Kya hua Shehnaaz, aapne uss task mein aise kyun react kiya… It was just a task par aapka reaction dekh ke laga jaise aap shuru se hi khud ko kaafi control kar rahi thi react karne se…” Shehnaaz sadly said, “Sorry sir bahar jo hua nahi hona chahiye tha par main kya karti maine kaafi rukne ki koshish ki par end mein jab aapne result bola tab nahi hua… Salman was a bit confused but knew that something from her past bothered her to the extent of reacting to a mere word. He thought better not to ask about it so he explained to her something really important. He said, “Dekhiye Shehnaaz, bahar kya hua tha pehle vo main nahi jaanta par I do know that the reaction didn’t come on the task. This was something suppressed within you kaafi pehle se. Par haan main aapko yahi kahunga ke kabhi bhi kisi bhi cheez ko khud par haavi nahi hone dena chahiye...Usse kisi se bhi jise aap trust karo share karna chahiye so that it doesn’t keep eating you from within...Kaafi dino se I have noticed ke ye specific word pe aap itna react kar deti hain...Aap janti hain agar hum kisi cheez pe react karein baar baar toh hum vo na hote hue bhi ban jaate hain...So, aap ab se isse ignore karna shuru kardo...Kyun kisi ko free ka license dena aapko question karne ka...Ab koi aapko ye kahe toh kehna haan unko jo lagta hai vahi sahi hai aur baat khatam...Now I am leaving and bigg boss Sidharth ko andar bhejenge...Aapne jo share karna hai sab kar lijiye and come out with full confidence and positivity okay...All the best…” Shehnaaz again apologises for what happened outside and hugs Salman sir...He leaves and Sidharth enters...The moment he enters she hugs him tight...He reciprocates the hug and keeps rubbing her back till she calms down… She says while hugging him, “Tujhe toh nahi lagta na ki main jealous hun…” He gently breaks the hug, wipes the little tears in her eyes, cups her face and says, “Tu pagal hai mujhe aisa kyun lagega aur tu nahi hai koi jealous vealous samjhi...Bahar jo hua was just a game aur toone suna na sabne kya kaha ke tu jealous nahi protective hai and yes tu protective hai that’s it…” She replies in an almost crying voice, “Par result toh yahi aaya na task ka ke main hun jealous…” Sidharth hugs her and replies, “Toh tujhe usse itna farak kyun padta hai...Main keh raha hun na ke aisa kuch nahi hai toh nahi hai...Phir dekh Salman sir bhi aaye tujhse milne...Ab rona band kar and tell me whatever you feel like...Bass kuch bhi aisa mat rehne de that suffocates you...Main kitne din se notice kar raha hun par bola nahi...Tu bohot pareshaan lag rahi hai...Kya soch rahi hai itna baby…” She hugs him again and says, “Sidharth aaj jo task hua usse meri itne din ki resistance khatam ho gayi...Ek tareeke se theek hai that the emotions came out...Salman sir ne bhi kaha ke kuch andar nahi rakhna chahiye….Problem ye nahi hai ke kisi ne kya bola kya nahi bola...Problem sirf iss word mein hai...Jab meri controversy hui thi toh mujhe sabne bola ke ye jealous hai dusre ki success se...Jab ki main kabhi kisi se jealous nahi hui...Jo kiya hai aaj tak khud se kiya hai...Akeli bhi rahi par kabhi kaam karna nahi chhoda...Itni mehnat karke yahan tak aayi aur yahan aake phir vahi word suna...Main jealous nahi hun main protective hun tere liye sachi teri saun…” She says this while crying. Sidharth just rubs her back, kisses her forehead and says, “Mujhe pata hai meri jaan ke tu protective hai..Sun zaroori nahi hai ke har koi hamein pasand kare, agar koi ek insaan bhi karta hai na toh life set hai...Aur kisi ke kuch keh dene se tu vo ban thodi na jayegi...Tujhe pata hai tu kya hai, mujhe pata hai tu kya hai toh that’s enough….Life mein har kisi ka past hota hai...Mera bhi tha...Par look at me now...Do you think ke vo mujhe ab affect karta hai?? Nahi karta...Kyun?? Kyunki I have left it in the past and moved on...Same tu bhi kar...Toone apne past se jo acha seekha vo yaad kar...Usse uppar uthke tu vaapas grow kari, vo yaad rakh and baaki jo bura tha vo bhul ja samjhi…” He breaks the hug, wipes her remaining tears and says, “Ab chal mood sahi kar and let’s go out...She slightly smiles to which he says, “Aisi nahi mujhe meri Shehnaaz vali smile chahiye...Achi vaali…” She gives him a big smile to which he says, “That’s like my girl…” They both go out...After this he didn’t leave her alone even for a while. He was the only one who understood her well, supported her, guided her, cared for her genuinely and protected her in all ways throughout the season…
These two taught me the real meaning of love and friendship.. I don’t really know how to define true love but I must say that a true relationship and moreover a true friend is the one who never leaves your side even if you are far away…
