Kitty Cat

A/N: This is a Camp Half-Blood story. 

SOLANGELO relationship status: not together yet! 

Summary: Will finds a kitty that he befriends

The early morning sun shone brightly through the windows of the Apollo cabin. Will Solace rolled over in his bed, the sun filtering through his eye lids, painting his vision in golds and reds.Will stretched,  the covers pooling around his waist. His eyes fluttered closed when he heard a scratching sound coming from under his bed. Leaning over the side, Will stared into the eyes of a small black kitten. 

"Meow?" The cat blinked at him with big brown eyes.

"Awww," Will sighed and leaned down to pick the kitten up. The cat eyed Will's hand untrustingly. "I'm not going to hurt you. C'mon." The black kitten meowed but let Will to scoop him up. Will laid the cat on his lap, "Hey, there little Buddy. You hungry?"

The cat butted his head against Will's knee and purred loudly. "I'm going to take that as a yes." Will got up and slipped his shoes on before picking the cat up and cradling him in his arms.

Will walked across the grass towards the dinning pavilion, the cat purring all the way. When he got there he set the little guy on the table and grabbed his plate and sat down, looking to see if Nico di Angelo was actually going to show up. The cat meowed making Will turn and look at him just in time for him to see his water be tipped over, causing his breakfast to be puddled. Will sighed and picked up the cat. Buddy, he decided. His name will be Buddy. Buddy purred in the crook of Will's arm. Will kissed the top of Buddy's head. "I love you already, Buddy."

The cat looked at him with what could only be called doubt. 

Will spent the rest of the day bringing the cat with him where ever he went. Everywhere he was, so was the cat. That night he tucked the cat into bed and laid next to it, petting its silky fur. When he awake his hand reached out for the cat, and petted something silky soft. He rubbed what he thought was the cat's head, when he heard a content sigh next to him. He grinned for a second before realizing that was a very human sounding sigh. His eyes flew open, and he looked into the peaceful face of Nico di Angelo. 

"Nico?" Will said. "Nico?" He shook him awake. 

Nico's eyes opened slowly. "Why are you in my bed?" His words slurred with sleep.

"Why are you in mine?"

Nico blinked, "I'm not in yours." He rolled over while mumbling, "Weird dream. . . First dreaming of being a cat. And now this." His breathing slowed in to an even pace.

Will blinked, "A cat?" His face paled. "Oh, Gods. . ."

Nico shrugged in his sleep, and let out a soft purring sound.

Will looked up just in time to see Lou Ellen sneaking away from the window. Will sighed, and drifted back to sleep.
