"nice receive!" the team yelled as motoya saved the ball from hitting their side of the court. a tall [h/c] haired male quickly glanced behind him and saw that kiyoomi was running towards the net, he immediately set the ball high just like he knew the ace liked it. the palm of kiyoomi's hand met the ball and he harshly spiked down scoring a point for their team
the whistle blew loudly resonating around the gym, practice was finally over.
"that was quite a practice match" [m.name] laughed as he slung an arm over motoya's shoulder, who had a small smile on his face. he ran a hand through his slightly wet hair as he panted softly.
"it was" motoya nodded as he looked up at [m.name]. the setter clearly taller, standing at 6'0. "you were great as always [m.name], no wonder you are one of the top three setters in the country" he praised the setter. [m.name] smiled at the praise, puffing his chest out a bit in pride
"that's right motoya~ im the best setter there is" [m.name] replied proudly, his [e/c] eyes trailing over to their ace who was approaching the duo.
"im going to take a shower first, you guys help clean up" kiyoomi ordered as he walked past the duo, heading towards the showers
"wait aren't you going to help?" [m.name] swerved his head back to see kiyoomi's back as he walked away, clearly getting ignored.
"he's so meann" [m.name] whined with a pout but then faced motoya with a large grin
"let's start cleaning motoya~"
[time skip ]
"im so glad we have a few weeks off school and practice" [m.name] rubbed his shoulder gently as he, kiyoomi and motoya walked down the street. all of them looking fresh and new after their baths at itachiyama academy.
"just because we don't have school or practice doesn't mean you can slack off" kiyoomi remarked, as he held the trap of his black back pack as he stood in the middle with [m.name] and motoya in either side
"what are you going to do during the time off [m.name]?" motoya questioned, leaning forward so he can see [m.name] over kiyoomi
"ah" [m.name] rubbed the back of his head as he looked forward "i am going to visit my cousin back in miyagi, she's the manager of the boy's basketball club ─ or was it the volleyball club?" he whispered the last part before shrugging
"you told me she was the manager of the swimming club" kiyoomi narrowed his eyes at the setter as motoya slightly snorted as he saw heat spreading across [m.name]'s [s/c] cheeks
"and you told me she was the manager of the tennis club" motoya said as he looked up at the sky, the sun was setting before turning to look at the setter again. "and im pretty sure i heard you tell tsukasa that she was the manager of the soccer team" he said, exposing the setter even further with a small grin
kiyoomi stopped walking and turned towards the setter who was blushing profusely, his [e/c] eyes glued to the floor.
"you don't know what club she's in, do you?" kiyoomi asked as motoya stood next to him, both of them staring at the embarrassed setter.
".. no" [m.name] quietly confessed
