synopsis.

amelia claude dixon was born to a famous lawyer, grant j. dixon, & a retired actress, sofía dixon, in the upper west coast. her mother is mexican, making amelia mexican american & fluent in spanish. there wasn't a soul on the west side that didn't know the dixons—whether they were fans of her mother's movies, people who had family put away by her father, politicians, paparazzi, or those who had been partying with the golden state's teenage hierarchy's princess, amelia dixon.

she went to cherry beach high school from her junior to senior year. she fell in love with the people, with the school spirit, the sports, & the parties. they loved her back. amelia would've gone there her entire high school career, but, with her mother always absent & her father as well, it wasn't until she reached the age of 17 that she was allowed to remain at an estate without the presence of her parents. a nanny must be on duty, however. she's finally reached 18, tip—toeing into her freshmen year of college at stanford. it wasn't just mommy & daddy's money that got her into a fantastic school. amelia earned several scholarships for being a honors & AP student, & she also received scholarships for testing perfect scores on her AP history exams. it was her strong subject, so when she settled into college & her history professor, Prof. Brooks Greaves—a clean, good looking man with years of teaching and experience under his belt—gives her low grades that take her history average down to a D+, she can't contain herself. she confronts him after class & it turns into something that continued to become an in-class argument, happening until she insults his intelligence & puts herself on a pedestal. he extends an olive branch, but what happens when they meet halfway?
