As time goes by the engagement day arrived like a furious wind, for Jennie it feels as though she had been pushed down the cliff but she accepted it as she believed fate can't be changed at her will

Everyone was already present at the venue, rosé and Jennie became a little awkward after what had happened, but they try to handle agreeably with the situation, Jennie's and lisa's friends along with many elites gather to congratulate the couple

"Hello everyone may i get your attention please" Mr.kim raise the mic and speak warmly to get everyone's attention

"Before the engagement ceremony begins I'll like to announce a very exciting news that is the diamond group and kim corporation will be merged after the couple tie the knot cheers" Everyone was astonished by the announcement as they congratulate the two most influential companies in Korea

"And my daughter lisa will be the next CEO of the  diamond group but I'll be in my position as a chairman of the company cheers" Mr.manoban declared openly as well, Everyone raised their glass and congratulate lisa

The couple had been standing together while playing their roles of a great loving couple of the century

"Look at Jennie and lisa it seems they're really a perfect couple" Seulgi
quipped and sip her drink causing jisoo and rosé to chuckle while nodding their head in agreement

"How about us babe can we engaged sooner?" Jisoo asked out of the blue that make rosé to blushed, Seulgi scrunched her nose while glaring at the two

On the flip side lisa dig her left hand inside her pocket and put on a warm smile however Jennie just stand beside lisa like a mannequin she smile when people approach her but dope the act as soon as the person was out of sight

"Put on a Smile don't act like a stubborn kid" Lisa urged gritting her teeth amidst smile coz the camera was facing them

"Can't i even stand in peace?" Jennie asked lowly as if she was bored and exhausted

"Suit yourself just don't embarrass me" Lisa warned, Jennie felt like crying but she was not going to give in like a weak woman

"Don't tell me what to do I'm not a kid" Jennie counter back, lisa was about to retort when suddenly the MC asked for everyone's attention to start the ceremony

The couple stand at the middle and was ready to put the ring on each other finger

"Hey! Handsome grandma got your back she's grumpy but she'll surely fall for you" Mrs.senior kim winked and whisper at lisa, the latter winked back and clicked her tongue

"Enough flirting mom, Jennie will be jealous" Mr.kim joke that makes everyone in the hall laugh but not the brunette

"Now exchanged the ring" Mr.manoban urged the couple lisa smile and slide the ring tenderly holding Jennie's delicate hand everyone claps their hand while jisoo and Seulgi whistled

"Here Jennie mark lisa yours" Mr.kim quipped and gave the ring, Jennie smile wryly and took it then watch lisa for a brief second and slide the ring onto her finger

After that a huge cake was cut and the couple fed each other smiling as if nothing happens between them the elders were so happy that Mrs.kim and Mrs.manoban wail up in tears

"I request everyone to proceed towards the banquet hall and after that, the party will begin" Mr.manoban announced with a face tearing smile

The Imperial Hotel was packed with elites lisa request her father to organize the engagement party in a very simple way but the Kims hadn't agreed as Jennie was the only daughter and so they book the imperial Hotel, especially for the engagement
