I woke up
And decided I wanted to apologize to Grey
She was trying to be nice
And I exploded on her
So I got up extra early
And headed to my favorite cupcake place
I got 2 red velvet cupcakes and
Headed to school
At first I didn't find her
So I kept it with me
But then I spotted her sitting in the courtyard
And rushed towards her
"Hi."
I smiled softly.
She raised her eyebrow.
"Hi."
She replied questioningly.
" I'm sorry about before. I was not in my right
State of mind. And I'd love it if we would be friends."
I then handed her the cupcake.
And she smiled.
"I get it everyone goes through things. I'd like that too."
" So you want to hang out after school?"
I asked internally terrified of rejection.
And
She nodded.
In that moment
I felt like
Maybe
Just maybe
My life would turn around for the better.
