The front liners were Egony's platoon. They raised the same picture as Egony's shield. The second front liners was Daniel's platoon, they, too, raised their flag. The flag was a shield with a sword in the center, the last was the generals, they didn't have a flag, but instead, they had dums, the drums banged like this,
Boom ba ba boom!
The pattern was repeated, until the sign of halt was shown. The Phalanx, was now a shield wall. Then the Pillagons banged theirs too. It was like,
Bam boom boom bam boom
The pattern was repeated also. The cavalry came in, then made eleven gaps, that let the spearmen out. Their shields were even smaller, but the shields were an upside down house like shape. The Pillagons attacked.
The first were cavalry, they charged towards Egony's platoon, the cavalry men charged their horses. They were like the wind, charging over the hill, making a big dust cloud. And he new that the force of the horses were critical. It was more worse than what Egony expected. The horses banged him and the other, making a huge gap, they continued to charge. They hit Daniel's line. The shields clanged, and spears splintered into two pieces. And they were defeated by the arrow shots, when they almost got to the last line of defense. The horse men fell from their horses, and some horses fell dead. The last of them retreated. But also eliminated by Egony's line. Then Egony and Daniel attacked the spear men, at first they marched, then marched faster, and faster, and then until they all ran, and rammed the shields, they stabbed their spears and another set of soldiers came. Egony slashed and sliced men. He slashed one man, and cut of a head of another, then lifted a man using his spear, he, then, threw his spear at one of the generals, he also killed a warrior, and slain a dark hound, and killed it's rider by slicing his neck. He also killed an orc, and slain a goblin.
He also banged his shield on a 9 foot tall giant, and sliced through it's back and the giant fell; the next enemy was Darian, the king himself. His armor was simple, like a crusader's armor.
But his skill was no match for any spearton. His height was about 5 feet tall. But Egony fought him, but he saw his men get killed and a few were left when he fell to the ground after Yudar knocked him out. And he was knocked again. And he was feeling dizzy, and everything turned black after he closed his eyes.
