Tea

That friend beside you,

Present

That your troubles might fade

Away.

Or to be drowned,

In milk-soaked infusion

So warmly comforting and -

Gurgled down,

takes with it:

Worries, sadness, all

But left be only tea leaves

At the bottom,

Of the cup
