"So, to begin with, are you single or taken?" I asked intrigued.
The man gave me a smirk before he replied "why? You fancy me or something?"
I laughed a little to loud at that point and I choked and stared embarrassed at the ground. "No. Sorry..."
The man chuckled his reply "I'm single. Just looking for the the right girl really"
"Oh. Cool. Okay."I said quietly.
We walked along in science for a little while until he asked me a question.
"So, you have any pets?"
"Yeah!! I have a border collie called Bella and a cat called jasper." I replied happily.
"I see" he murmured.
"Right, this is my house." I said as I stood outside my house, number 24 deerhook lane.
The man took a long look at my house before he done anything.
"Umm, thanks.." I said awkwardly holding out my hand.
The man carried on looking at my house before he took my hand and shook it.
"It was a pleasure." He replied smiling. "Maybe I'll see you around again sometime and we can ask more questions. My name is Mark."
I started to feel uncomfortable at this point but kept my calm.
"Yeah, maybe I'll see you around."
And at that I walked to my front door and closed it behind me.
I took a deep breath and looked out of the window to see Mark take one last glance at my house, before he set off the way we came.
He seemed like a nice person but something about him made me feel uncomfortable.
I ran up to my bedroom and got into bed.
I would never see him again, he was just a stranger being helpful, I thought although I knew that wasn't entirely true...
