Chapter 16 - Macarons

The first day of the tournament is here and right now all of us were standing outside of the gym making me feel nervous a bit 

As we began marching our way, we stopped walking as we heard someone talking about us making them stand behind the two players 

"Karasuno?" 

"They were strong once, not too long ago" 

"Oh yeah, but not anymore" 

"There's a saying about their team" 

"What's that?"

"Fallen powerhouse. Flightless crows" 

One player turn around and saw us making him flinched in fear and quickly shut his friend but Tanaka lean in close to the two "Flightless you say? Is that what you said?" he asked and Daichi quickly grab the back of his collar and apologized to the players 

When we walked in many players look at us and whispering something but there was one thing that grab my attention for a bit 

"Hey, is that guy...That's Karasuno's Azumane"

"What? Who's that?" 

"Don't you know?" 

"I heard guys from Kita High worked for him to extort money. I also heard he sold illegal substances on the street. And I heard he's been in highschool for five years" 

"He's an adult, then" 

I look up at Asahi who was already feeling down just by hearing from weird rumors making me sigh and pat his arm making him look down on me 

"Don't mind those idiots, they just don't know you well. You're a very good person Asahi-senpai, here have some macarons" I said giving the ace a caramel macaron 

"Thank you Y/n" Asahi smiled as he happily enjoyed the dessert not before Daichi and Sugawara started teasing about his appearance and Asahi tried to explained it 

I chuckle silently enjoying the scene as I started walking with Takeda and Kiyoko "The banner was quite effective" Takeda said "Very effective like in video games" I said 

"I don't think so Y/n" Kiyoko said "Well, it's even more better than the poem that uncle wrote" I answered making Takeda laugh nervously "You don't have to say that N/n" 

As we continue talking neither the three of us noticed a couple of guys were looking us "Cute.." one of them said then his friend elbowed him "Go say hi to them. I dare you" "Should I? Should I try?"

Out of nowhere Nishinoya and Tanaka began moving around us like crazy while the other Karasuno players were just glaring at the two guys making them flinched by the cold stare 

I look at the second year duo with a blank face while Kiyoko was shock and confused 'Why the fuck they were protecting me? I'm not even a goddess like Kiyoko'  

Kiyoko turned to look at me with a small smile formed on her lips "Can I borrow your notebook Y/n?" she asked making me nod at her and gave my f/c notebook at her 

She gently grab my notebook and hit the second years at the back of their head "Stop that" she said calmly making the two boys froze and have a funny and weird look on their faces 

I even saw some flowers surrounded them making me took a pic of it 

"Kiyoko-san...smacked us" they said making me sigh "You two should be serious ok? I don't want Daichi-senpai to scold the both of you" I said patting their back as I follow Kiyoko behind

"Y/n....pat our back" they said once again making Kiyoko gently grab my hand "Don't bother worry about them" she said which I raised a brow at her confused "Uhm..ok"
