Lilli's POV:

The next day coach takes us to look for jerseys and hockey sticks. Charlie and I look at some hockey sticks, he touched on and the whole lot of them slide down and fell making a huge noise, I put my hands behind my back and whistle going into another isle.

After awhile I turn around to find Charlie but stop when I find him with someone very familiar, Fulton.

I skipped over to him after Charlie left thanking him for getting a stick out of the ice stand it was in, "Hey Fult." I say following him outside, he turns around and smiles at me immediately, "Hey." he said.

"So how's skating going?" I ask him, he shrugged, "Could be worse." he admits.

"Yeah, it'll take some time, maybe I can see you tomorrow, yeah?" I ask hopefully.

"Sure." he says and I smile at him and he smiles back at me and I felt my chest and cheeks get warm.

He goes to say something else but before he can everybody piles out of the store, "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Bye." I tell him and he nods leaving.

We all go to the ice rink to practice, "Dude, check 'em out, man." I heard Goldberg say to Peter, "Holy cow. They're pretty good skaters." he said looking at Tommy and his older sister Tammy.

Coach then asks, "Anybody know who they are?"

Terry answers, "That's Tommy Duncan. He's in my science class. And that's his sister, Tammy." he smirks.

"Think they'd want to play hockey with us?"

"Yeah!" we all shout.

"Go get dressed. I'll do the negotiation." Coach instructs us.

Coach somehow got Tammy to play with us while Tommy jumped at the opportunity to play.

"Back to basics! Skating! Go! Go! Side to side. Shift your weight. Get comfortable on your edges. That's good, that's good. Keep your balance, Karp. Trust your edges."

After that coach gets a ton of eggs, "Soft hands." he whispered, "You don't shoot the puck to your teammate. You sail it to him. Karp on your feet."

"You send it." he glides the egg to Karp but the egg smacked into the stick and dies, "Oh, Gross!"

"You don't stop the pass. You accept it. Cradle it." he tells us.

We all go into a half circle, "Concentration, not strength."

"Like the karate kid, right? Wax on! Wax off!" Averman started talking making roll my eyes.

Finally me and Connie snapped at him, "Just shut up and try it, Averman."

"Such a jerk." he mutters.

"You best shut it Averman before I do what I did when you took my moon rock." I threatened him and he immediately shut up and slide the egg to coach.
