My Name is Anika Robisville Shante Im 16 years old turning 17 in 6 days I live by myself I don't associate with my family I'm going to school still and I stay in Chicago.
I woke up from my dog Marco barking trying to wake me up
"MARCO HUSH" I yelled at him making him whine in sadness
I got up going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and getting dressed.
I started running my bath water and turned it off when it was high enough

I walked out of my apartment door and saw my neighbors staring at me I began to walk to my BestFriend house Ree
I began to knock on her door she opened it and walked out locking her door
Hey girll you looking all fye and shit" she laughed
"I just threw on something girl ain't really nothing" I said chuckling
Ree is my BestFriend she has always been there for me ever since my mom left me Ree took me in with her mom and then I decided to get my own apartment and things have been going great.
"Girl hell naw let's take some pictures at school we looking fine as fuck" she said hyped up
"Ok but your phone though I forgot to charge mines" I said mad
"No problem"she said
We began to walk to the bus stop and we saw the strange guys we never saw before there is was 3 of them and they had mask on
Ree sat down and I sat down on her lap we sat in silence and awkwardness I noticed another boy walk up
I turned to Ree about to tell her let's go as soon I as I turned my head I heard gun shots and glass shattering
Ree and I began screaming I looked up seeing the guys that had the mask on with their mask off
I saw the boy that was walked up on the ground with blood dripping from him I began to dial 911 as my phone got took
I started panicking I grabbed Ree by her hand and starting running with her back to our apartments
We looked back and saw the boys started to look at us Ree and I heard one of them yell "CATCH THEM" causing the 2 to run after us
Ree and I began to run faster into the entrance of the apartment building I look back to see them still chasing us
We began to run up stairs and Ree fell causing me to fall behind her we tried to get up but before we could they caught up and put bags over our heads suffocating us

I woke up in a black luxury looking room I began to look around the room for Ree she was no where to be found
I ran towards the door banging on the door and kicking it I felt a door slam on me causing me to fall
I started being dragged by one leg causing me to kick the person I began hearing screams I was familiar with knowing it was Ree
I got dragged into a red room with a dinner table I got shoved on the wall by one of the guys
"If you move I will kill you and your friend do you understand" he said in a serious tone
I nodded as I mugged him as he walked out of the exit door
I just sat there thinking where was Ree and if she got hurt it was alot going through my head
Soonly after a short while a man came in the room dressed up came in the room and sat at the table
We made eye contact with me thinking was he about to kill me or talk to me he was very scary looking I watched him lick the grills in his teeth
"Get up and sit down don't try anything stupid you will regret it and I can promise you that"he said serious
I began to slowly get up from leaning on the wall and sat across the table from him in the chair
I looked around the room while he was staring at me chuckling
I began to mug him while he started to roll up a blunt
"My name Benzo you gonna be staying here for now on what's yo name" he spoke
I ignored him and began to play with my nails "I'm not a person to repeat myself so I would be nice"he said
"I'm Amika and I don't know who you think you is to think you gon be keeping me hostage I'm not like the rest of these bitches" I said while mugging him
He began laughing and he walked up towards me he tried to grab me by my chin but I pushed him away
He aggressively grabbed me by my throat and pulled my towards his ear
"Look here I'm being as nice as I can I have options on how to kill you don't make me think of them" he said while walking back to his chair
I began to get scared and nervous he chuckled on how tensed up I was
"Why am I here" I asked
"You saw all of us with our mask off I don't know about your friend but most definitely you did" he said
"I promise I won't say anything just let me and my friend go please" I begged as I began shedding tears
"I don't think so we will talk in the morning"he said as he dismissed me for his boys to come get me
They put me in the same room and locked the outside of the door behind them
I walked up to the window trying to open it but it wouldn't open
I began crawling in the bed while starting to shed tears I curled up and so only began falling asleep
