I woke up smelling the food from outside the door I looked at my phone to see a random number call me
I called the number back as I heard it rang 3 times until someone picked up
"Hello" I said nervously
"Hey Amika" I voice said as I knew it was Benzo
"I'm keeping the baby now bye" I said as I was about to hang up

"Can we meet up and talk"he said as I heard girls in his background laughing

"I see" I said while wiping my tears sniffing

"You can pick me up tomorrow just to talk"I said
"That's fine just give me the apartment num-"he said as I cut him off
"Just pick me up where you got me from at 3:30 text me when you on your way Benzo" I said as Ree came in as I began shushing her
"Ok" he said as I hung up
"Who was that"Ree said as she yelled walking out to the kitchen
I got up and followed her walking towards the kitchen table sitting upon it

"He wanted to pick me up tomorrow so we can ta-" she cut me off

"Period you still don't know the gender have you been to the clinic yet" she said as she put her hand on her hip
"No I'll probably go this weekend" I said

"AMIKA LETS HAVE A GENDER REVEAL" she yelled excitedly
"We can but I don't talk to my folks you know that" I said as I swiped my hair behind my ear
"Girl I'll handle that but we can have one next Friday"she said as she began dancing
"Okok" I said as I rose up from the table going to grab my plate

I laid back on the bed watching the girls in my room play with each other

"What?" They both said while looking at me

I watched as they all left the room hearing the front door close twice

I knew it was gonna be awkward for Amika but I just miss her and I can't do anything without her it just drives me crazy to see think about her with someone else
