My eyes linger on the stars above,
Aware of vast distances between,
Wondering what lurks out there,
On distant rocks unseen.
I wonder just how many,
May be looking back at me,
With intelligence beyond our own,
Drifting in infinity.
Amidst the endless chasm of space,
I feel mysteries burning,
With answers known by distant minds,
For which I will keep searching.
But we were only meant to know so much,
And the universe is vast,
Greater minds will come for mine,
Madness will strike me fast.
Coming from the stars above,
Entities seek to stop me,
Before I learn their secrets,
And the means with which to...
