"Hey. Calm down, they're doing great," Althea laughed, grabbing my hand as we watched RFV perform on the monitor. Today was the start of our journey to worlds. I mean, with the level of choreography, mixed with the talent in the studio, there was no way we wouldn't make it.
"You're going to be fine too. You should be happy, your boys are out there." I sighed and nodded. Althea was right; I shouldn't be stressing out right now. It was a good day today.
"Yeah. Yeah, of course," I answered. She gave me a quick squeeze, and I smiled at her.
"Oh!" Althea yelped, yanking her hand out of mine as Kirsten walked over to us.
"Am I interrupting something?" She joked.
"No! You just scared me!" Althea laughed.
"Your boyfriend is nervous, actually," she smirked. I couldn't help but scan over Kirsten as she slowly approached me. She has a really lovely pair of leggings on. I think she caught me staring at her legs. I flinched when Kirsten's hand lifted my chin so that my eyes would meet hers.
"My eyes are up here," she breathed, winking at me. I felt my legs go weak, and I couldn't even give her a quick response like I usually do.
"Indeed, that's why I'm looking down," Quinn cut in, leaning against the door frame. God, I fucking hate this guy. Ever since I've been with Kirsten, he's flirted with her. What kind of guy shamelessly flirts with someone's girlfriend! My jaw tightened up, and I pulled Kirsten into me.
"Someone's a protective one," Quinn chuckled.
"Someone's a jealous prick," I shot back. Kirsten's hand came up to my chest as she held me tighter.
"Kirsten's nice, Daniel. But that's just it, she's more drama than the eye candies worth." If it wasn't for Kirsten being in my arms and Ezra being right behind me, I would have jumped him right there. Luckily Elvis, Simon, and Ruthy arrived just in time to hear that.
"And yet more eye candy than you'll ever get near," Ruthy announced, making Quinn jump.
"If you ever talk about Kirsten like that again, you best bet I'll end you," Simon growled. Ruthy was quick to push Simon's chest when he got to close.
"I wouldn't want someone like Kirsten anyways," Quinn scoffed, making everyone in the room want to take their turn punching the guy. But me...I wanted to kill him.
"That wasn't what you said on the phone to me last night," Kirsten spoke quietly, making my eyes widened.
"What?" I growled.
"He phoned me last night. He was clearly drunk and begged me to come to his house," She revealed, raising an eyebrow in Quinn's direction.
"Ain't that right," she smirked as Quinn turned a deep shade of red.
"Okay, now I'm gonna fucking kill you," I growled, moving before anyone could stop me.
"Mate, no!" Elvis yelled.
"We're about to go on, you can handle this later," Ezra reasoned.
"I don't want to sort this later! This fucking son of a bitch is screwing with me and my relationship," I argued, fighting against Ezra's grip to no avail.
"Dan." Kirsten's soft voice filled my ears, slightly calming me.
"Don't let this guy ruin this amazing thing we've all been working so hard for," she whispered, taking my face in her hands.
"Come on, petal, he's not worth it," she sighed and kissed me. Ezra stormed passed us and pushed Quinn.
"Don't come to celebrate with us later. And trust me, I'll be celebrating your absence," he growled before we all watched Quinn walk away.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! PLEASE HELP ME WELCOME TO THE STAGE-"
"See you out there," Kirsten whispered and kissed me again before rushing over Ruthy. I watched as the pair walked over to the girls.
"Let's do this," Althea laughed as we walked out onto the stage.
"Yeah," I sighed.
"Come on!" Althea groaned.
"Don't let that asshole ruin this for us. Enjoy this.
