So, backstory time
Vile is a villain when he ages, but as a young child he was raised by two very rich and beloved heroes. Unfortunately these "Heroes" aren't as heroic behind closed doors, they were very abusive towards their only child which cause him to run away as a young teen and believe that all heroes are corrupt bastards
