"What are you?" Elena asked again
Stefan took a deep breath, "you know" he said
"No. I don't" Elena said
"Yes you do. Or you wouldn't be here" Stefan said
"It's not possible. It can't be" Elena said.
Stefan walked outside and set the stake down
"Everything you know, and every belief that you have is about to change. Are you ready for that?" Stefan asked,
"What are you?" Elena asked again.
Stefan paused for a moment, "I'm a vampire" he said.
"I shouldn't have come," Elena said.
"No. Easy" Stefan said walking towards her while she walked backward
"No. No" Elena said.
She ran towards her car but Stefan appeared in front of her
"How did you do that?" Elena asked
"Please don't be afraid of me," Stefan said
"Let me go," Elena said
"Elena there are things that you have to know and understand," Stefan said
"Let me go" Elena yelled, running past him.
She got in her car and sped off. Stefan sighed and went to go check on Davina. He saw that the bleeding had stopped and her heartbeat had gotten stronger. He put a shirt on her and went to Elena's.
When he got there he went through her window. When he entered her back was to him.
"Elena" he said
she whirled around to face him. She gasped and ran for the door. She opened it but Stefan sped behind her and closed it.
"I would never hurt you. You're safe with me" Stefan said.
"All those animal attacks. Those people who died. Davina" Elena listed
"No. No. That was Damon" Stefan said
"Damon?" Elena asked
"Yes. I don't drink human blood. That's not how I choose to survive. But Damon does. I'll explain everything to you. But I beg you Elena you cannot tell anybody" Stefan said,
"How can you ask me that?" Elena asked
"Because you knowing this is dangerous. For so many reasons. You can hate me. But I need you to trust me" Stefan said
"Just go. Just go. Please go. If you mean me no harm then you'll go" Elena pleaded
"I never wanted this" Stefan said.
Elena opened the door to leave but Stefan had already left. He went back to the boarding house. He went back to his room to check on Davina but his bed was empty. There was no sign of Davina besides the blood on the pillow.
