Lies (Kageyama x Hinata x Atsumu)

Chapter 12

Hinata tripped as he heard Bokuto mention Kageyama. Shouyou tried to retort, but his flustered state was no help. "W-WHAT? I-I um.. I don't know what you're talking about" Hinata stuttered as he came back into the living room. Bokuto turned to him with a raised eyebrow. He flopped over on the bed and rested his face in his palms as he decides to tease Shouyou for a bit, "Yea, didn't ya'll have a thing going back in high school?"

Shouyou flushed red as he huffed and walked to his bed, "Hmph! I don't know what you're saying". He beant over to pick up his volleyball bag to get ready for practice when Sakusa also decided to join the conversation, "I also believed that you and Kageyama-kun were in some sort of relationship".

This caused Bokuto to go into a fit of laughter. Shouyou then fell over picking up the bag. As he got up, Shouyou pushed his hair back and ignored both of them, "Hurry up and get ready for practice".

Atsumu came back and sat on his bed. Still confused on what he should do to fix the problem. But as more time goes by, the worse their situation gets. "I'll talk to him before practice" he told himself.

TIMESKIP

Later that day, the coaches announced that the teams would be mixing and you would be making groups to scrimmage in. As they were setting up net and getting ready to warm up, Atsumu tapped Shouyou on the shoulder, "H-hey Shouyou, can we talk for a minute?" Atsumu asked as he grabbed his arm and dragged him into the hall. Shouyou didn't even get a chance to say no as he was tugged away.

Of course this exchange didn't go completely unseen. Kageyama saw this from the other side of the gym as he was putting on his knee pads. "What the hell does he want with Shou?" he thought. As he trailed after them he had a dark aura.

He turned the corner to see Shouyou backed against the wall. Hinata was caged between Atsumu's arms. He then pushed Atsumu back and started to yell.

"I DON'T CARE ANYMORE- DO WHAT YOU WANT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME! YOU MADE THAT CLEAR ON THE BUS AND WHEN I CAME HOME"

"SHOUYO-"

Kageyama then intervened. He stepped in front and pushed Hinata behind him with his arm. Hinata clung onto his back and rested his forehead against it. "Atsumu-san please leave." Kageyama said.

"THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YO-"

"YES IT DOES! HE IS MY TEAMMATE AND I HAD TO PEICE HIM TOGETHER WHEN YOU BROKE HIM! AND THEN YOU HAD THE BALLS TO HURT HIM AGAIN?! AND YOU STILL HAVE THE AUDACITY TO APPORACH HIM, TRY AND DEFEND YOURSELF, AND TELL ME i DON'T HAVE ANY BUSINESS IN THIS?!"

Kageyama looked him up and down with a disgusted look, 'tch'. Kageyama grabbed Shouyou's wrist and lead him away. His touch was gentle, his eyes were soft, but when he looks up at someone who has hurt Shouyou, you could feel the anger.

The pair spent all of practice together and stayed on the same team. After all, playing with Kageyama and having him set fir him again was nostalgic. It lightened the mood a little bit.
