Anne, Merri, or Beasts?

The episode opens to the sound of Dragonflies buzzing in the nighttime air. Cut to Stumpy's Diner.

"Goodnight, you frogs! See you in the morrow.", Wally, the town vagrant, said. He then bumped into something, making a barrel roll on screen.

"Oi!", Wally exclaimed. This causes the other frogs to laugh at him.

Cut to Wally walking and playing his accordion, while humming. Suddenly, he hears loud rustling caused by Anne and Meredith.

"Hello?", Wally asked. Soon, ominous wind blows in the air around him.

"What's that?", Wally asked, getting scared. Then, two mysterious beasts pop up from some bushes behind Wally.

"AAAH! No no no no! NOOO!", Wally yelled out, as the camera shot pans away from him. Shot cuts to village inhabitants going about their daily lives, in the daytime.

A butcher Amphibian cuts a centipede looking creature which screeches. A amphibian says, "Woah", in surprise as the front half of the centipede crawls up a house and crashes through the window.

"Mmm...", an Amphibian couple said. "Aaah!", the guy exclaimed, as he gets carried off by a dragonfly.

"Huh?", the girl asked, confused. A few kid Amphibians laugh while playing.

A slug appears carrying a cart with Hop Pop, Sprig, and Polly Plantar in it, while trying to eat a leaf on a fishing pole-like stick. "Ho. Ho.", Hop Pop said.

"All right, kids I'm gonna do a little shoppin'. You watch the cart.", Hop Pop said, as he turned around. "You got it, Hop Pop! I'll defend this cart with my LIIIIIIIFE!", Sprig said, while pounding his chest.

"Sprig, I was talking to Polly.", Hop Pop told him. "What? Polly's a baby!", Sprig argued, in disbelief.

"You're a baby!", Polly shouted back, while pointing at Sprig with her hand. "Polly's got more responsibility in her little flipper than you have in your entire body!", Hop Pop said.

"Ridiculous. What makes you think I'm irresponsible?", Sprig asked. "Oh gee. Let me think.", Hop Pop sarcastically said, while thinking.

Cut to a flashback. A green liquid substance explodes out of a pot, while Hop Pop's cutting veggies, because Sprig put something in it.

"Oops!", Sprig exclaimed. Cut to a second flashback.

Sprig crashes through the wall, while Hop Pop is sleeping, causing him, Hop Pop, and a Cow-Worm to scream. Cut to a third flashback, showing the outside of Plantar Farm.

"Sprig, what did I tell you about leaving the lights on?", Hop Pop asked. Suddenly, giant fireflies start ramming the house, causing everyone to scream.

Cut back to the present. "Okay. So yesterday was a bad day.", Sprig said.

"Mm-hmm. Polly, make sure Sprig stays stays in the cart.", Hop Pop said, while hopping off the cart and grunting. He then goes inside the Grub & Go store.

"Well, how do you do, Mrs. Jonkins?", Hop Pop asked. "Wish there was a way to prove I'm not such a goof-up.", Sprig said, while sighing.

Suddenly, Wally comes running out of the forest, screaming and panting. "Monsters! Th-there are monsters in the woods! I seen them! I seen them!", Wally yelled out.
