"I have to admit something, I've never stargazed," I tell Madison.
"Really? I don't believe that."
"It's true."
"Well, we could head back to my place. My backyard has an amazing view of the sky." She tells me.
"Is this your way of telling me that you want me to go home with you?" I tease.
"Oh, no, no, no! Nothing like that!" She quickly says.
"I was just messing with you. You're adorable." She looks down and blushes.
"So, you ready?" She asks.
"Can I get another coffee first?"
"Of course."
---
"Woah. This is crazy." I say as I look up at the stars.
"I know right."
We sit in silence as I look up at the star-filled summer sky.
"Are you okay with me touching you?" I ask.
"Y-Yeah." She stutters.
I move over to where I'm laying my head on her stomach and still looking up. I feel her hand slowly go into my hair. She starts softly scratching my head.
"Do you believe in aliens?" She asks after a few minutes of silence.
"Yeah, there's no way that our universe expands millions of miles every second and there is not other life forms."
We go into a comfortable silence again as we contine to watch the stars.
"Wait, can we go swimming?" I ask.
"Like right now?" Madison asks.
"Right now." I clarify.
"Okay." She says.
I get up and throw off my shirt. I get a running start and jump into the pool yelling, "CANNONBALL!"
I surface and see Madison rolling her eyes at me as she stands by the pool.
"Come in! Don't be a wuss!" I yell.
"Fine." She slowly takes off her shirt and her shorts. "Come on..." I say. She jumps in. I go below the water and swim towards her. Before I can get too close, she goes back up for air. I quickly follow suit.
"Come on, let's get out. I'm cold." Madison says.
"Okay." I swim to the stairs and grab Madison's hand, helping her out.
"Thank you m'lady." She says with a smile.
"Don't worry about it."
I grab my shirt off the grass. "Here." I offer it to her, "Just to cover up a bit." I let my eyes roam her body.
"O-Oh, t-thanks." She stutters out.
---
"Wait, you've never watched Rick and Morty?" Madison asks.
"Umm... yeah."
"Shut the fuck up. We are stopping the movie right now and starting the show."
She turns off the random movie we were watching and goes to Hulu, turning on Rick and Morty.
I put my head in her lap and her hand finds its way into my hair.
"Mmmmm..." I moan out. My eyes widen, realizing how weird that may have been, "Oh my God, I'm so sorry. That was so weird."
She giggles as she continues to softly scrath my scalp, "You're fine."
Her giggle is my new favourite sound.
A few minutes later, her hand movements start to slow down, I slowly turn around and see her asleep. I take my head off of her stomach and slowly crawl off the bed, I walk around to her side and carefully lift her up. I take the comforter out from under her and lay it over her.
"Sleep well Madi." I tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear and take a moment to admire her.
I go downstairs and grab a pillow off the couch and the blanket that was thrown over it. I head back upstairs and set the stuff down on the floor. I turn off the TV and then get comfy on the cold wood floor.
