It's Complicated

Finally Mine

*1 Month Later*

I got to hang with Moriah almost everyday,it's been a month already. I remember when she told her brother that I was her boyfriend,but really we aren't even like that,atleast not yet? I decided on calling her and inviting her out,just to finally make my move. She had told me that she would be ready soon,so I made my way to her house after I got ready.

I waited about thirty minutes outside her house ,damn what was taking her so long? I took out my phone and sent her a text:

"Mo,where the hell u @?"

"I'm sorryy,I don't know wat 2 do wit myy hair."

"Throw it in a bun or somethin,you look cute either way?"

"K,thanx 'Lando,i'll b out in a minute."

"Out in a minute my ass." I huffed under my breath. She was out in about thirty seconds to spare.She slid into the car,her outfit and perfume were so breath taking."You look cute Mo." I said while starting the car."Thank you,it's nothing really?" She said,I could tell she was embarrassed by the way she would look at her feet.

"Can I ask where we are going?" She said shyly."Nope,it's a surprise." I wasn't going to tell her that I was taking her to her favorite restaurant.I was taking her to Olive Garden,she loves the shit out of that place."Can you uh,cover your eyes please?" With a nod,she did as she was told.

I pulled into the parking lot and parked. I got out and went around the front to open her door.

"Can I uncover my eyes now?"

"Not until we are inside Mo."

"Then an I uncover them?"

"Yes Mo,then you can uncover them." I said while rolling my eyes,this girl is a piece of work. Once inside,I let her uncover her eyes,she gasped when she realized where we were." 'Lando,you didn't." She gasped again. "Yes Mo,I did,just for you." I said with a chuckle.

The waiter escorted us to our table,Mo still had a surprised look on her face. "Close you're mouth before a fly gets into it baby." I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction to my comment,she playfully punched me in the chest."Whatever 'Lando." She replied with a giggle.

"What can I get for you two lovely teens today?" The waiter asked with a huge smirk plastered on his face." Um Can I get a Spaghetti and Meatball Supreme,with extra Parmesan cheese and a water?" I replied."And for your beautiful girlfriend?" My jaw clenched at the way he looked at her,she was mine.

"Can I get the Chicken Alfredo and a tea please?" She said,her beautiful smile portraying on her lovely face. I loved when she smiled enough to where her dimples would appear,it was amazing. About fifteen minutes later,the waiter came back with our drinks,stopping just a few seconds to wink at Mo,she giggled in response.

"What was that?" I hissed when he left."What was what?" She said while taking a sip from her tea."That,between you two." I hissed once again." "Lando,relax,it was nothing okay,nothing but a little tease okay." She shook her head at my expression.

"I'm sorry Mo,I didn't mean to upset you ,it's just- I was cut off by the same waiter from earlier,he was bringing us our food. I scowled at him as he set our food down,he took one look at me and left. "Good,stay away." I grumbled under my breath.

We sat in silence for a couple of minutes,waiting for one another to break the silence. I'm glad she was the one to do it,because I was getting tired of hearing our forks scrape the plates over and over. " "Lando?" She whispered,while dabbing the side of her mouth with her napkin.

"Yes Mo?" "What were you going to say earlier?" She didn't look at me,she just stared at her plate while moving her food around with her fork. "What about earlier?" I questioned. "What were you going to say before the waiter came with our food?" She sighed."Oh I was going to say that,it's just that I ...........................I uh?" Now it was my turn to be shy."You what?"

"I love you Mo,I know we haven't known each other long but I can change that. It's like I have a special connection with you that can't be broken? I want you to be my girlfriend,my number one,my everything?" I stuttered on.

She finally looked up at me,eyes sparkling,oh how I loved those lovely bright brown eyes.

Moriah's P.O.V

Did I hear him correctly? Did he just ask me to be his girlfriend? Did he just say that he loved me? I didn't know what to say,what do I say? I rambled on and on in my head. Then it hit me,I loved him too. I would be more than happy to be his girlfriend.

"Yes." Was the only thing I could form.I was way too speechless to form a sentence at the moment."Are you serious,did you just say yes?" He asked,wide eyed."Yes." I repeated. After that he called the waiter and he paid for our food. We left hand in hand,it felt so right.

We drove home,listening to the radio. We both were too shy to look at each other at the moment. Yet we still held each others hand. When he pulled up to my house. He opened my door and walked me up the steps. "C-can I kiss you?" He stuttered.

Without a further word,I brought my lips up to his. It wasn't an awkward kiss,it was a passionate one. " I love you." I whispered into his ear when we pulled away." I love you too,I'll see you later baby." He said while walking down the steps. In a way I felt some sort of loss when he got in his car and drove off.

I unlocked the front door and went up to my room,smiling as I laid back on my bed. "Could my life get any better?" Just as I asked myself that question,my phone vibrated in my pocket.

"I love you Baby 😚 XOXO" It was from Orlando. I guess I was wrong,my life can get better.
