I pull away, blushing. "I've always wanted to do that..." I whisper. Alexander blushes and looks up at the sky. Huh. There's no screaming, protesting. I guess he always wanted to do that to. After a lot more silence, blushing and deciding if we are dating (we are!) I run back to the building. I have to tell Peggy about this. I search around the school and find myself waiting by the girl's bathroom. Peggy comes out, tears streaming down her face, eyes puffy and red. "What's wrong?" I ask, confused. Her fists clench and she runs up the stairs to the girl's dormitory. Now I'm super confused. What did I do? Eliza comes out of the bathroom saying, "Peggy, wait! Please, c'mon!" "What happened?" I ask again. Eliza just glares at me and runs up after Peggy. Seriously? What did I do? I pass my friend, Hercules in the hallway. "Nice job with Alex, man. Dude." I roll my eyes and ask my question. "Did I do anything wrong? Because Peggy's crying and she won't tell me why." His eyes widen. "You don't know? It's really obvious. I mean, not that obvious. Only if you catch her when she's away from you. I guess she never told you. Eh, she can't tell you now since your with Alexander, so -" I cut him off. "What didn't she tell me?" He looks down sheepishly. "I - I don't know if it's true, it's only a guess. But if it is I don't think she would want me to tell you." I groan and continue down the hallway when I pass someone I never wanted to. An angry older sister, Angelica. She glares at me and stomps up another flight of stairs. Probably going to check on Peggy. I really want to know what I did so I can apologize for it. But apparently only Peggy can tell me and I don't think she's going to talk to me for a while.

I wake up to a empty room and get dressed. I decide on black pants, a dark brown, long - sleeves shirt and some black boots. Peggy's at her locker. She's wearing something that resembles a school uniform. A white, long - sleeves shirt with a red tie, a navy blue jacket over it and a navy blue skirt. She also wore tall white socks with black flats over them. "Hi Peggy! Nice outfit!" I say trying to get her to talk to me. She laughs. "Better than yours! I'm kidding, I'm kidding...Maybe." We laugh. Well that was easy. She grabs her books and heads off to Reading/Writing, my major her minor, the one class where I get grades as good as hers'. "Sorry about last night. I - I was just really angry." "Why?" "You kissed Alexander." She sighs, but quickly adds, "You kissed Alexander and you didn't let me plan it out!" We laugh again as we open the door. Moriah is sitting next to Alexander, and I curse assigned seating. She's wearing a red sweater that goes off her shoulder and black - leggings. I end up sitting next to Hercules and Lafayette. I hate group projects. Peggy is in a group with Eliza and Aaron Burr, who is being annoying as usual. But all I care about is how close Moriah is getting to Alexander. Then an angel enters the room. By Angel, I mean the teacher. She says she has a last minute seating change, and switches out Moriah with Nina, much to Mary Sue's protests. The group projects are to write poems about something you find in nature. Nothing really happens in the class. Peggy is filled with ideas, then punches Burr for trying to hit on her. As usual, I have to do all the work because my group members are goofing off. Technically, we all have to write our own poems, but we have to work in groups and the poems have to be connected to each other. I'll probably end up writing my group members' poems as well. The class ends and Peggy heads off to her Major, Psychology, and I go to me and Alexander's minor, law. It's cool how me and my new boyfriend have classes right next to each other, and we major and minor in the same exact things! Sadly, Burr minored in law as well, so Mr. Annoying is in our class. I sit down at my desk and watch as Alexander takes his place next to me. Mary Sue and Nina come in talking about what an outrage it is that Nina had to move. A paper flutters on to my lap, ripped and small. Alexander mouths "Read it." I smile and try to hide my blushing. We've never done this before. But to be fair, I never had him as a boyfriend before. I read the note; the handwriting is messy, but still neat in a way. It read, "Check your Phone" I stifle a laugh. I've never texted in class before, but my book is in front of my face and the teacher isn't here yet. I pull out my phone, remembering how Peggy found out his number by Eliza and told me. Wait - how did he know she did that? Oh well. What did he text me? I check:

Do u want 2 hangout l8ter

Weird. I never thought Alexander would be that kind of texter. I should text back like that too, so that it makes me seem cooler and more like him.

sure where

@ tree

I blush as the teacher comes in, turning off my phone and slipping it back into my bag. Nothing happens again and suddenly I'm at home with Alexander. Time flies when your trying to not tell your parents something. I rack my brain, but can still barley remember our time at the tree. I think we kissed? I grab Alexander's hand and enter the house. My dad is on the couch with my mom. "Oh! Is this your new friend?" My mom asks, taking a sip of her tea. "Not exactly..." I laugh nervously. I can do this. "He's my boyfriend."
