Akash's phone lying on the table. Text flying through the screen. He comes and picks the phone.
AKASH (Tying some text): When are you guys coming over?
SHEETAL: Coming over where?
YOGI: What are you talking about dude?
AKASH: The monthly party guys? Remember it is at my place
RAVI: Man, it is not this Friday. It is next Friday.
YOGI: I am not in town
SHEETAL: Sorry man, I also can't make it today.
SHANKAR: : Let's do it Next week?
AKASH: Sorry, guys my mistake. Will meet next Friday :)
Akash gets up and blows the candles out. Keeps the food inside the fridge. Doorbell rings.
AKASH: Who could it be?
He opens the door to find Rimple.
AKASH: You?
RIMPLE: Yes.
AKASH: Come inside.
RIMPLE: This is how you welcome your guests?
AKASH: Sorry. I thought....
AKASH (pauses): Anyways. Welcome. What you like to have?
RIMPLE: You know what drink I like.
AKASH: Sure. Vodka with some pineapple juice. At least some of my preparations are coming in handy.
They both share a laugh.
RIMPLE: Where is everybody?
AKASH: You didn't check the messages in the group?
RIMPLE: Man, that group gets a million messages.
AKASH: So Rimple, the thing is. I am little embarrased to say it.
RIMPLE: Tell me.
AKASH: Party date is supposed to be next week. I thought it was today and I arranged for it.
