A month later
"Not too tight! I'm pregnant, not fat" I fuss as I'm being adjusted into my wedding dress. It's a week before the wedding and I'm only now just getting the dress fitted. "Sorry" Gina laughs. She takes a step back and examines me. "Hmm, pretty dress but it's the guy you're marrying that you gotta worry about."
"Don't remind me" I roll my eyes and pity myself.
Then Gina gets dressed in her attire, as always she looks stunning. She playfully struts around the room as if she were on a runway but stops in the middle. "Are you sure I don't look fat?" She suddenly looks insecure. "Of course, you don't! Don't say such a thing" I reassure her and she smiles in relief.
This past month has been nothing but Chooch preparing to marry me. For an experience so magical, I'm not exactly thrilled about it as one should be. As if on cue, the door opens and he walks in without knocking. "Wow baby, you look great" he admires me. "Don't you know that it's bad luck to see the bride before the big moment?" I reply.
"I don't care," he smirks.
Then he looks across the room at her.
"Gina" he greets with a small nod. They glare at each other, the tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Before I can prevent it they engage in another daily argument and I'm forced to be the peacemaker once again. Chooch storms out moodily, the door slamming after him whilst Gina gives him the middle finger. "I wanna kick him in the-"
"Ass?"
"Yes. I wanna kick him in his ass!"
"He's not that bad. Sometimes. I dunno. He's confusing" I lean against the vanity. "All males are confusing, that's why they're aliens" Gina scoffs. "Who's an alien?" Stefan enters the room, a soda in hand. Gina blushes which I notice, I try to hide my smile. Those two have been flirting like crazy. I can tell they like each other but it's all complicated.
"Nothing," she says quietly, avoiding his gaze but he doesn't seem to mind so much. "Okay okay get a room," I tease. Gina nudges my shoulder but Stefan chuckles in response before saying "You've got doctors tomorrow so don't wake up too late" and leaving the room.
Gina and I have been on total lockdown since we arrived at the mansion. The only times we get to leave is when I have appointments but even still we're monitored 24/7. If this is what it's like being a famous celebrity then I'm glad I'm not one...Although I can't tell which is worse.
"I should kick your ass for saying that in front of him" she facepalms. "You clearly like him so why don't ya just ask him out already?" I reply. "No, he's a gang member" she groans. "So? Welcome to the club" I snigger. "Shut up, I'll think about it" she can't help but grin.
Things just turned even more interesting.
