Hey guys I wanted to say the time Mia spend with Trevor till she sees Alex's is a memory she actually had those moments
I wake up sweating as my heart beats rapidly and my breathing shallow I cry as I remember my family's lifeless bodies and those eyes.
I remove the covers and make my way to my bathroom. I stare at myself in the mirror sweat dripping from my face. 'What the hell was that'
I wash my face with cold water and I can feel my body cool down.
I walk out from the bathroom, I check the time on my wall it's 3:30am. I change my sweaty clothes and put on track pants and hoodie. I leave my room and make my way down to grounds. I sit on the dewy ground I inhale deeply taking in the cool fresh air and I feel my body relaxing
After an hour or so the sun begins to rise and sky is painted in colors of Orange purple and light pink they mix together creating a magical sky. I hear someone approach me I turn to find Jack.
"Jack!?" I said as he stands next to me .
"Mia what are you doing here so early" he asked
"Jack I need a favor?" I say as I look at the sky. He raised a brow
"And that is ?" He asked sitting down beside me.
" I was thinking maybe if you can train me ........uh... I mean... I want to be strong so I don't have to fear Alex, I want to protect what's close to me " I say with a hint of nervousness.
"Are you sure?" He asked looking my way.
"Yes" I said more bravely as I look Jack directly in the eye.
"Okay then... The first things first, you need to know basic combat" he says as wakes up and dust his pants.
" ok for a warm up we have run at least 2 laps on the ground." He said.
'wait what this grounds....The huge' I look at Jack as he sees my shock expression and laughs.
"Come on!" He says as he jogs and I follow him to the end of the grounds. We start the first lap and it wasn't so bad at first I was actually enjoying it, until we come mid way and my legs began to pain. Looking back at high school I should have took part in gym but I wasn't the athletic type.
Sweat started dripping down my face as I managed to finish the first lap. Jack ahead of me not even breaking a sweat. I continue running pushing my body to it's limit I look at Jack who slows down so I can catch up to him.
"You good ?" He asked looking at me.
"Yeah" I say struggling for air.
"Do you want to stop for a while, take a break?" He asked mockingly.
"No" I say loudly and try to pick up the pace and it causes Jack to smile.
I continue to run and body no longer hurts. My body feels at easy , we finish the second lap. I'm no longer huffing and puffing. Jack said it was the werewolf power kicking in.
Jack leads me to Alex's house. We walk down to the basement to find a fully equipped training room.
"Okay Mia Rose you ready to learn" he says sounding a bit to loud. I nod my head in response.
"Right then I want you to throw some punches at me" Jack says sternly.
I curl my fingers into a fist, I swing it with as much force I have towards Jack , he stops my hand inches away from his face he didn't even flinch.
"First of Mia, that's not how you punch. Your thumb is not suppose to be inside of your fingers but on the outside covering your fingers" he says as he demonstrates by correcting my fist .
"Okay I got this " I say out loud motivating myself. Afterwards I practiced my punching on a punching bag.
"That's enough" Jack says and I stop. I turn around and face him
"Is that all?" I ask raising my brows
"No you gonna learn how to kick " he says and I give him a smug. I can kick anyone can do that.
"I know how to kick Jack!" I say with to much confidence.
"Do you now?" He asked
"Yes I do " I say as I place my hands on my hip .
"So me then " he says. All my attempts were useless he block each an every one I tried to distract him by saying there was spider behind him but won't even look back.
"Your posture is right but there is no power in your kicks and when you kick you need to be anchored" he says
I kick him cause his guard is down and groans as he hold his side. My eyes widen in realisation I didn't expect it to hurt him.
" Jack I'm sorry!!!" I say as I rush to him
He laughs
"Got you " he says in between laughs. I cross my arms
" I thought I hurt you Jack you idiot " I say turn my back towards Jack.
"Hey okay no need to get angry if it helps the kick wasn't bad though we can move on combat training" he says and I turn around.
He started of slow and it was going well until his moves began to get fast, I could hardly keep up. My back hits the floor causing me to groan due from the extreme pain.
" I think that's enough for today " he says giving me a hand I grabbed his hand he pulled me up with so much force I crashed into his body we so close our hips touch he puts his hand around my waist to stabilize me.
I move away to I look at Jack's face his hands still on my hips as he stares at me. Jack I about to say something, when someone clears their throat. We turn to see Alex I was expecting him to say something but he just walks away. I instinctively follow him but Jack grabs my hand
"Leave it Mia, it will only get worse " he says pleading with his eyes.
"But I can't .... I just can't leave it like that Jack... I have to try" I say as jacks hands slowly loosen . I run to Alex who is about to leave.
"Alex!! Wait" I say a little to loud.
"What!?" He says angry.
"Its was not what it looked like Jack caught me I .." I say not before getting cut off my Alex.
"Look you not mine so why should I care " he says coldly not even facing me before leaving.
My mark burns and my heart feels sore, Luke someone literally stab me in the heart. With each breath I take my lungs feel sore, I take a few steps back and hit someone I turn to find Jack standing there looking at me with apologetic eyes. My eyes begin to fog up and before I can stop myself the tears roll down my face continuously.
Jack take me in his arms and hugs be tightly
"It okay " he says in soft voice but it only makes me cry more.
"It will be alright Mia" he says as he pets my head. Pretending to be strong is hard when everyone can break you so easily....
