Chapter 3

After finishing all the classes, I headed towards the canteen. I looked around for my group and found them on our regular table in the back corner of the canteen.

Everyone was sitting there already.
Alena was busy talking with Kathy. Xander was making out with Elizabeth as usual. I rolled my eyes on them and avoid looking at them. Sandra was busy refreshing her makeup.

I don't know why we are still friends because last time I checked, I had caught her cheating with my last boyfriend.

After that, I tried to avoid her, but she didn't get the message and keep trying to be friendly with me. I had forgiven her because I was already planning to leave my boyfriend, but still, things weren't the same between us.

"Hi everyone! Did anyone of you ordered for me"? I asked and sit on the chair with Alena.

"Yeh here is your lunch and it's on me." Alena replied.

"Thanks, Alena," I said and picked up the burger from the tray.

A guy from our physics class approached us. I don't remember his name maybe it was Leo or something like that.

"Hello guys, do you hear what happened to Charlie's group"? He asked.

Charlie's group is full of the rich and spoiled children of our school. They like to bully other children and play pranks on everyone even with the teachers. They always get themselves in trouble. We don't like each other from the first day of school. It's not like we're enemies.

It's just they got into a fight with us on our first day of the school. And start from that day till now, we don't like each other. We try to stay clear of them. And they do the same.

"No, what happened to them"? Sandra asked with a questioning look.

"They played pranks on Mr. Josh and get caught." He replied excitedly.

"Ooh, they got some balls there if they really think that they can play pranks on Mr. Josh and get away easily. Everyone knows here what will happen to them if they tried to mess with him."
Xander said now all attentive.

"Yeh! I will pray for them, but I don't think it's going to work this time." Alena said jokingly.

I didn't say a word in the whole conversation and keep enjoying my burger.

After finishing it, I got up from my chair and said.

"Hey guys, I'm going to the bathroom and will head straight to my next class. See you guys later."

"Wait for me, Ally. I'm going with you too." Alena said and kissed Kathy with a goodbye.

"Bye babe, see you after school," Kathy said.

I stood there waiting for her.
Just as I was going to turn around, someone bumped into me from behind.

"Watch where you going bitch." Liam said with an angry face.

Liam is a guy from Charlie's group. If Charlie is the leader of the group then Liam is like a second in command. They do everything together. In other words, Liam is his partner in crime.

"I think it's you who should watch where you going. You moron." I said with the same tone. No one, I mean no one can mess with me and get away easily.

"Don't dare to talk shit like that with me. you bitch." He said with a murdering look.

"Hey, what's happening here"? Alena approached us and asked.

"Stop this bitch friend of yours before I do something that I will not regret later." He said almost spitting on my face.

"Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you call my friend a bitch? Only I can call her that." She said furiously.

I rolled my eyes on her. Now the whole canteen starts gathering around us to watch the show. Our other friends also came to stand with us.

He didn't say anything when he saw so many people against him.

"This time I'm letting you go, but I will delt with you later." He said looking at me.

"Why don't you do it here"? I challenged him.

When he didn't say anything, we start heading toward the canteen door.

When I was passing by him. He whispered in my ear.

"You will be  going to regret this."

I didn't acknowledge him and keep walking straight.
