There are many different reasons someone can have writers block. One of them can be because they get bored with it they're writing or how the writing; this is called the style. So can you fix that? One thing you can do, just change your style. For instance if you're writing a Science fiction novel in first person, maybe try switching over to a romance novel in third person.
Now, I'm not saying to right a whole book in that style. I'm just simply stating try writing a page or two in the style it may start getting creative juices flowing because you're doing something you're not used, your challenging yourself. Challenging yourself is always a good thing to do.
So if you ever get bored with what your writing just try switching it up, you don't even have to change the gene you are writing in. Just change the tense, the point of veiw, your main character from a guy to a girl, or vice versa. Just be open to trying new things.
