I walked through the jungle behind kentrell as he led us to the place he had "came" from
"You sure this the way?" I asked looking around
"Yeah I remember running through and-
Before he could finish he got snatched up by a trap and started yelling
I quickly aimed my bow and shot my arrow cutting him free
He landed face flat groaning holding his ankle
A loud growl was heard from close around but I couldn't quite put my finger on it
"Fuck watch out" a unknown voice yelled before I got tackled to the ground
I heard wings flapping and something flew around us
The person stayed on top of me for a while until the creature went away and quietly slid off
I opened my eyes and looked around to see a dark skin boy with little twist in his head
Wait that's not kentrell..
I quickly held out my arrow pointing it at him as I looked around for kentrell
He was gone...
"Get up" I said quietly clenching my teeth at the unknown man sitting on the ground
He slowly got up holding his hands up in the air
"Name?" I asked tilting my head as I moved closer to him
"Ben" he stuttered like he knew but didn't really know
