I walked inside to see Jake pacing back and forth. "Hey Jake." "Hey sis." I found myself giving Jake a tight hug. "Clem?" "Sorry. I just missed you so much." "I missed you to Clementine." He hugs me back. "So where is everybody?" "Well the girls went out tonight. You went out with that friend of yours, so I was thinkin' of going for a drink or two but I decided not to." "I'm glad you didn't. We can chat." I say sitting down. "Okay so what are we going to chat about?" "Stuff." I said. "Stuff?" Jake replied. "Stuff." "Stuff?" "Stuff." I started to giggle. "Stuff? Just stuff?" Jake said. "Sure why not?" I shrugged.
"What "stuff" we gonna talk about then?" "I don't know. You got into one fist fight already, how many do you think you'll get into?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. "That's the question. I'm an asshole, but there's so many other assholes in this town I can see it." "You're not an asshole, you just." I paused. "I what?" "Never mind." He brushed it off and began to pace again. I was startled by Abigail bursting through the door. "Jake, Clementine look!" She points. "Holy shit." I say in surprise. There was a huge fire down town. We saw fire but the smoke went extremely high. Jake then stepped outside.
"Alright I'm goin' to see if everyone's alright, you girls stay in here don't open the door for anyone. I'll see if I can find Ken and Christa on the way." "Jake please be careful. I don't want to lose you again." I say grabbing his arm. "Don't worry sis, I'll be fine." I lost Jake twice. When the infected attacked Fords city, then when I thought he died. I couldn't risk losing him again.
