Chapter 35

After what happened earlier we get home, now we are in his office I'm still have no a courage to talk to him because of what happened

"What's wrong?"  he broke the silence i smiled "Nothing, go do your paper works. I'll be fine sitting here" 

I said he nod and sit in his desk while me sitting on the couch i grabbed my phone in my pocket and started looking at our photos of Kai 

'I'm really sorry about earlier" i said without looking at him and scrolling on my phone

I heard him hummed, so i pout and look at him but his not on his desk i felt an arm around my neck

I smiled and look at Kai hugging me behind

"I'm just worried, I'm sorry did i scare you?" he asked i shook my head "A little" i said 

he chuckled and kiss my cheeks "But i know you're just worried" i added and caress his cheeks smiling he let go and sit in his desk again.

We heard a knock and opened the door by Kuruno with a smiled in his face

"Having a good day?" i asked he nod and let in "Good news" he said as sit in the  other couch 

"For who?" Overhaul asked Kuruno looked at him and wave his hand "For (Y/N)" he said as he look back to me i tilt my head in confusion

"What is it?" i asked

And that's the news that i've been wanting to hear for a long time. It finally come the moment that i was waiting for...

"We found Mikasa's location" he said my eyes winded and stand up

"Really?" i asked shock he nod and smiled i started jumping and quickly hug Kuruno

"Oi?" Kai said made me let go of him and come closer to him

"I'm sorry...i got too excited!"  i said and hug Kai he hug me back and pat my head "Thank you" i said and kiss him

"I know I'm single but don't make me feel lonely here" Kuruno said made us laughed.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Kai asked but i shook my head and smiled

"I appreciate the offer but you have many things to do"  i said, he look surprise to me and smiled

"Okay Kuruno will come with you" he said i nod 

                        Timeskip

We arrived at the house of Mikasa and knocked the door the door opened by Mikasa.

Her eyes winded when she saw me "It's been a long..." I said smiling, she nod and her tears started to fall down.

I quickly hug her and she hug me back

"Idiot, you shouldn't erase my memories" I said not letting go the hug "I'm sorry..." she said

She let go and caress my cheeks "How are you?" she asked me I smiled  "I'm doing great" I answer.

She let's us in and sit in the living room she gave us a drink

"Who is he?" she asked looking at Kuruno I smiled

"Kuruno, my friend" I said Kuruno slightly bowed at Mikasa

Mikasa bowed too while Kuruno started removing his mask "Nice to meet you"

He said Mikasa's eyes winded as Kuruno remove his mask and look at me

"Yeah me too, how did you know that I'm here...and did you remember anything already?"

She asked curiously I smiled and started to explain everything what happened

She's kinda shocked that Akio remembered me and didn't know how did he did that but she's glad that there's someone to protect me already

"Idiot" I said as she wiped her tears "I'm sorry that's the only choice I have" she said laughing

I nod and hug her once again

After an hour of talking we bid to each other and promise to visit each other if we have a time.

"See you whenever" I said as I and Kuruno stood up "Okay, take care" she said I nod and hug her one more time

                                ...

After we arrived at home I was on our room standing at the balcony looking at the trees

When I felt an arm on my waist, I turned around and saw Kai not wearing his mask either his gloves

I smiled at him and kiss his cheeks

"What's that for?" he asked innocently and forming a small smile in his lips "I saw Mikasa thanks to you"

I said and hug him he hug me back and pat my head

"Of course anything..." he said and brushed his lips into mine made my eyes winded but I returned it

"Just promise me one thing" he said as he let go, I blink a few times and tilt my head

"What is it?" I asked he hold my and and squeeze it gently

"Don't l-leave me..." he said made my cheeks bright and red, I nod  and hugged him one more time

"I won't" I reassured him.

Kai is might be overthinking that I'd leave him for Akio but I understand why because of his trauma when he was a child.

I won't leave him for Akio, who would choose a stone over a gold?

Who would choose an Akio who is a bastard over Kai Chisaki?

"Bold of you to assume that I'll leave you alone" I said giggled, his eyes widened and nod

"I might be like a broken record but I love you... (Y/N)" he said I smiled like a dork and bit my lips

"Of course you do" I tease, he chuckled and shook his head

"Say it back" he requested but I shook my head and kiss his forehead.

"I love you too"

I said, he smiled in victory and kiss me again I returned the kiss and put my arms into his neck while his wrapping his arms on my waist

We let go and he leaned his forehead into mine panting

"You're getting better" I praise him made his cheeks red I chuckled

He kiss me once again and bit my lips made my eyes widened

"Mine..." he said as he let go, I put my finger in my lip

And touch the area that he bit

"You're mine"

he said with a sharp eyes made my heart flutter he smiled and hug me again.

"hmm, yours"
