Jace's POV

(At home)

"Shelby okay fine I'll visit you soon,maybe next week" I said visibly exhausted

"Okay babe but wait when are we gonna get married" Shelby said over the phone

"Married? Oh thattt um look I've got a lot on my plate right now so-"

"But Jaceyy we've been engaged for a long time now. I wanna get married already" She whined

   I hate leading people on for no reason but I feel like if I tell Shelby I don't love her anymore she's gonna feel very hurt...and probably kill me👉👈

"Aren't you gonna ask me how Becca is doing?" I tried to change the topic

" Meh! She's fine I guess,..I know you'll take care of her,so can I move in?"

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa? Shelby? Move in? Lmao literally lmao. No way

"Um I've got to get to the office- ya know first day ain't tardy day!" I really don't know what that means

"But babe-"

I hung up

Phew!That was dangerous... Okay now to the office

I got into my black Lamborghini car and drove to the office...

After a 25 minutes drive I got to the company...walked into the elevator...this time I tried not to spill coffee on anyone lol

Soooooo I don't know where my office is. This is so annoying

I walked to Riele Downs office... Then knocked gently
"Come in" She half yelled

She was busy, I could tell. She was typing something on a computer and calling someone at the same time.

"Good morning Ms Downs" I said

   She looked up at me and smiled

"Good morning Mr Norman" She said smiling broadly
"Oh and you can call me Riele. Can I call you Jace?" She added

"Um" I didn't know what to say

"I just thought since were gonna be working together we have to get along perfectly" She said smiling

"Why are you being so nice?" I asked because I was confused as hell

" I'm always nice...I've been meaning to apologized to you for the incident that occur the last meeting ,I'm so sorry I acted so-"

"Bitchy?" I spat...where tf did that come from?

"I'm sorry" I said quickly

"No no I am sorry" she said smiling

That smile is cute yet scary

"Jace, you'll be working in this office with me. Your desk is over there" she said pointing at the other side of the office

"Oh I expected something better but okay"

" You can take the office in the last floor,I just thought it'd be cool if we could share this office. We'll communicate better,share ideas blah blah blah I'll call someone to lead you to the other office " She said picking up the office telephone📞

"Oh that makes sense I'll share this office with you" I said smiling back at her
