I get up at 10 pm with my girlfriend already sleeping soundly. I got out of bed quietly to avoid waking my girlfriend up and showered. I then changed into my all black clothes and head to work.

Hi I'm Jeongyeon. I work in a mafia group called Twice. My girlfriend doesn't know that I work for a bald, fat guy though and I'm not planning on telling her anytime soon.

I arrived to the usual place where Twice and I would meet.

While waiting for our boss we prepared and grab our guns from the arsenal and wait for our next mission.

Few minutes later our boss arrived. "Okay girls your next mission is to go to this alley at 12 am and agree to the mission given by the other mafia group" Our boss commanded. "Yes sir" We all said.

The clock striked midnight as all of us wait in the alley for the other mafia group. They arrived a few minutes later.

"Okay girls our mission for you is to kill L/n Y/n, kill her in 2 days we'll give you a million"

As they were talking I heard them say my girlfriend's name and as I listened I couldn't believe it. I can't kill my own girlfriend, this must be a dream, WAKE UP, THIS CAN'T BE. Twice all agreed to kill MY GIRLFRIEND.

I hide my tears as I worry about Twice trying to kill her. I have to be with her 24/7 from now on.

An hour later I head back home as fast as I could. I opened the door to our bedroom and see Y/n still sound asleep. I sighed in relief. I then changed into my pajamas and get in bed carefully to avoid Y/n from waking up.

Time check 4 am, I couldn't sleep with the thought of my girlfriend dying. I can't afford that kind of thing. I will protect her even if it costs my life. She is so precious to me.

The next day
I didn't go to work today from the fear of Y/n dying. While I was showering I hear Y/n's footsteps coming closer to the bathroom.

"Jeongyeon is that you?" she asked confused.

"네, 자기야" I said.

"Aren't you supposed to be in work?" she questioned.

"Yes but my boss said that I needed a break" I lied as I got out of the shower.

"I'm glad that he finally realized you needed a break, I mean look at the bags under your eyes" She said in a joking but serious tone.

I chuckled as I change into my clothes and get out of the bathroom. Y/n jumped on me and brought me into a tight hug.

"Y-Y/n I can't b-breathe" I softly said.

"Sorry I just miss you" She then pecked my lips but then it turned into makeout session. Oh how I missed this.

My phone suddenly rang showing the caller ID "boss". I hurriedly picked my phone up and ran outside the room leaving my girlfriend standing there.

"Y-yes hello" I said.

"JEONGYEON WHY DIDN'T YOU COME TO WORK TODAY!?" My boss shouted in a mad tone.

"I'm sorry, I had to take a sick leave because of my fever...."

"Okay I will excuse you but you can't be absent tomorrow" He said in a stern voice.

"Yes sir thank you"

He then ended the call and I head back to the room. "자기? who was that?" my girlfriend questioned. "It was my boss" I said. "Oh okay"
