Sing me a song by the river
Or perhaps you could read me a poem
We can snuggle inside on cold winter nights
Or walk on the sandy beach in summerMaybe if we both hold on
Then the autumn winds won't make us shake
Let's sink our toes into the cool pond water
Or lay on our backs and make snow angelsAs long as we stay together
The seasons can pass by with sweeping bliss
And all that is important to us
Is the time that we shared through the year
