BEYOND THE CLOUDS

CHAPTER THREE

Gwen's POV
I found my way to the tower of darkness which had always been the castle of the dark master and fortunately, he wasn't around.
"I have an important message for the master about the warriors of light" I lied to the two morons the master had kept as guards so they let me in
"go and wait in the meeting room on the ground floor" one of them told me not bothering to escort me and make sure I actually went to the meeting room and no where else.
I went in but instead of heading for the meeting room, I found my way to the dark chamber which was on the highest floor.
The chamber had a black metal door which was different in size and design from any of the other doors in the castle and a rusty old door nob. I fixed the key into the key hole hoping that it was no the wrong key and to my relief, the door clicked open.
I opened it quietly and snuck into the chamber closing the door behind me. At first, darkness enveloped the room but soon, touches of fire came on automatically.
The room was filled with the most priced possessions of the dark side. Ranging from jewelries to precious stones to ancient ornaments..... and there it was. What I had come for was laying there I the midst of all the precious possessions.
The glorious, red, well shaped trident which used to belong to me until the dark master retrieved it saying I had become unworthy of it because he found out about my affair with a warrior of light.

FLASH BLACK
My hands were bonded behind my back as I knelt in front of the dark master who was seating on his wall crafted throne
"I'm ashamed of you after finding out you're having an affair with a warrior of light" he said
"It's not what you're thinking dark master" I pleaded
"I put you in a great position Gwen and I even gave you the red trident of darkness but today, I retrieve it from you because you are unworthy and I cast you into a rest for fifty years" he said then one of the guards took my trident to him then a potion was brought and sprayed in my face even as I screamed and pleaded for forgiveness and gradually, I felt my self slip off.
END OF FLASH BACK

I made my way to the trident and the moment I grabbed it, I could feel power and authority rush through my veins then I smiled darkly before snapping my fingers and disappearing from the chamber.

Kelvin's POV
I was in the library reading a comic when a female voice said
"can I join you?"
I looked up to see Natalie, the red haired girl who always seemed to be in the best mood, smiling down at me and probably expecting me to smile back so I did and nodded then she grabbed a seat next to me
"I've noticed that you like reading Cole Beddler's comics, am I right?" she said
"have you been watching me or something?"
"no, it's just a very obvious fact" she said but I didn't bother giving any response because I was not interested in talking but as it turned out she was because she endlessly blabbed but all I did was nod and give short responses
"Natalie Divan come to the principal's office immediately" the announcement came over the speaker and I couldn't help but rejoice in my mind because I was already getting bored of the conversation.
She got up and smiled before saying
" I've got to go now..... don't get lonely though"
"trust me, I won't" I responded in my mind but gave her a smile then she left
I soon saw ten female fingers with the nails painted light pink over the page of my comic
"are you back so soon?" I asked but when I looked up, I realised it was Danny not Natalie
"oh it's you" I said surprised a little
"were you expecting someone else" she asked as she took the seat Natalie was seating on
"actually no" I replied
"you are always busy whenever I see you" she told me but all I did was smile.
We spoke and laughed until she got up and said
"bye for now, I've got something important to do" then she gave me a beautiful smile, the prettiest smile I had ever seen before she left.

Gwen's POV
The moment I paraded about with the red trident in my hand, news reached the master that I had found a way to get my trident back so he sent guards after me but I thought them unforgettable lessons before I finally decided to send the dark master a letter which says:

Dear Dark Master,
I know you must be furious after finding out that I stole the trident but you must try and understand me. I want to prove to you that I'm worthy of it and that I'm just as mischievous and heartless as you've trained me to be. I want to make you proud and maybe one day, I'll lead the dark army to war against the warriors of light and we will prevail but for now, try to understand my reasons and I promise i won't repeat my mistake.

Jeff's POV
I soon found out the school Danny was attending now so I started the procedures for a transfer so I could go there and then there will be no obstruction in my way to destroying Daniella Emerald.
