a cautious step, though small, implied much bigger things. much, much bigger.
curious, the child stepped forward, arms reaching out, desperate for love.
in an open grass field, the tall leaves dancing in the wind along with the child's clothes.
an arm, unknown, answered the child's call. it reaches out.
"hello."
