Chapter Three

Zac's POV
I'd tried so hard to not get detention but who knew that replacing the water at the drinking fountain with hot sauce would be against the rules.
As I walked to the dungeons I was suddenly thrown to the ground with a sword placed at my neck. Mae.
"You've got some nerve to come here", she said angrily.
What was she so angry about I'd only 'borrowed' her hextbook.
" Give me back my book ",she said.
I smiled," So now I'm worthy of your time",I said.
She withdrew her sword and tried to strangle me.
"You'll only get into more trouble if you do that", a voice said.
It was Poppy O'Hair.
Mae got off me and said," I want my book before sunset, got it green boy".
She was telling me what to do. How funny.
"Or else say goodbye to your wand", Mae said as she waved my wand.
" How did you-?",I started to asked but she walked away ignoring me.
How dare she steal my wand.
"Haha,I really like her", a voice laughed behind me.
It was Daren smiling at me.
I glared at him. What does Wendy see in him.
" What got you in detention? ",I asked as I watched Mae dusting off cobwebs.
" Hexting in class,running out of class to find a bald eagle,baking explosive pies and serving them to Momma Bear",he said. Sometimes this brat was worse than me.
I couldn't stop laughing as I imagined Momma Bear's face covered in pie.
I was mopping when I suddenly felt something crawling on my neck.
"This is what stole your hextbook Mae. Doesn't seem like much", I heard a voice breathed down on my neck.
I started jumping around to get off whatever was on me.
I bumped into Poppy who grabbed what was on me.
A green lizard.
" Mushi,what are you doing her",Mae asked surprised.
"Girl,I'm your guardian it's my job to be here", the lizard said.
" You're the one trying to make my job harder by messing with Mae",It said looking at me.
"Cool a talking lizard", Poppy said.
" Excuse me I ain't a lizard girly! I'm a dragon ",Mushi said.
"Oh please",I said," And I'm Headmaster Milton "
"Mushi stop let's go I'm done", Mae said.
" But I was just about to roast this fool ",Mushi said.
Mae wasn't listening, she walked out with Mushi on her heels.
I felt as if something was missing when she left.
My wand.

Wendigo's POV
" Linda,do you know Mirana Caterpillar?",I asked as we
sat down for lunch.
"Not really", Linda said.
" Oh",I said disappointed.
"You can ask any Wonderland kid. They always stick together", she said.
" OK,thanks ",I said and began to look for a wonderlandian.
" There's Bunny Blanc, you can ask about her ",Linda said as she pointed towards a table.
I walked to her table and said," Hi I'm Wendigo, I want to ask you about a friend of yours. I'm kinda new at ever after ".
Bunny smiled and patted her seat. I sat beside.
" I'm Bunny, Welcome to ever after high. So who do you want to know about? ",she said.
" My geografairy partner,Mirana Caterpillar ",I said.
" Oh,she's really nice and helpful. She's also curious and likes asking questions without answers. She's destined to be the next judge of wonderland",Bunny said
"Don't forget she gets extremely jealous of any girl that gets close to Nate", a girl with purple hair and a sly smile said as she sat down.
Kitty Cheshire, she was in my geografairy class.
" Try not to get too close to him ",Kitty said as looked at her Mirrorpad.
"Uhm,thanks", I said and walked back to Linda.
" So did you get your answers? ",she asked.
I nodded.
Mae walked into the castleteria with a green lizard on her shoulder.
" What's with the lizard? ",Linda asked.
" I'm not a lizard girl",the lizard said.
Woah a talking lizard.
"This is Mushi my ancestors' guardian", Mae said.
" It's a pleasure to meet you Mushi",I said.
"Of course it is", Mushi said.
" Mushi",Mae said warningly.
"Don't be rude".
We talked for a while mostly Mushi talking about how Mae's ancestors are so uptight.
I still had to meet Nate and Mirana at hocus latte by four.
I went to Glass slippers shoe store for shoe shopping then went to Beanstalk bakery to apply for a job.
After all that I headed to hocus latte.
Mirana was already there,I sat at her table.
" Hey,Mira ",I said hoping she wouldn't mind the nickname.
She smiled and said,"We should wait for Nate".
While we waited I had the pecan pie and Mirana had the black cauldron coffee.
Nate walked in as soon as our food arrived.
" Sorry I'm late",he said.
As he sat beside me I noticed Mirana narrow her eyes.
"So what enchanting landmark should we write our project on",as I scooched away from Nate.
" How 'bout Merroway cove",Mirana said.
"It's way too far", Nate said.
" Well maybe we could go to Hood Hollow and take some pictures and ask the wolves and hoods for some info ",I said.
" Yeah and we could make a 3-panel poster board and put our presentation there ",Nate said.
" What do you think, Mira?",I asked.
"Great", she deadpanned.
" Nate remember that time we met at the Enchanted forest",Mira said inching closer to Nate.
"Oh yeah", Nate said smiling.
While Mirana talked to Nate I looked for information on Hood Hollow on my Mirrorpad.

Wendy's POV
" Hey my Chemythtry partner is coming over",Cedar said as she walked into our room.
"A project?", I said as I crunched on my chocolate rhubarb.
" Nah we just want watch a movie your free to join us",Cedar said.
She began setting up a place to watch her movie with her partner in front of the TV.
Soon enough there was a knock at the door.
"Could you please get that?", Cedar said as she gathered up snacks.
I got up from my bed and opened the door.
It was Daren. I suddenly had butterflies in my tummy.
" Hey,you're Zac's little sister,aren't you? "he said as I let in him.
" Ye-yeah",I replied trying to hide my reddening cheeks.
"Daren come over here", Cedar said as she gestured towards the TV.
The two began Lusitania.
" Zac's sis come and join us ",Daren said and patted beside him.
" I'd love to but I've got tons of thronework ",I said nervously.
I sat at my desk and tried to focus on my Crownculus assignment.
I kept getting distracted by Cedar and Daren's laughter.
Soon there was another knock at her the door.
" I'll get it",I said happy to have an excuse to leave my equations.
I opened the door.
It was Linda,Conner, Tina and Marsha.
"Are you looking for someone?", I asked.
" I invited them to watch the movie with us",Cedar said.
I let them in and walked back to my Crownculus.
The equations were super hard. I fell asleep trying to solve them.
"Zac's little sis,wake up", I heard.
It was Daren standing in front of me holding my Crownculus assignment.
" Do you need some help?",he asked smiling.
My heart jerked.
"I...", I started to say.
He'd left his movie to talk to me.
" No thanks ",I said and grabbed my assignment.
I wanted to be as far away as possible from him before I fainted.

Mae's POV
I'd gone to the dance studio to practice.
I met Justine there.
" Are you sure you wanna dance? I mean your destiny is to be the hero of China not some prima ballerina ",Mushi said as she handed me my en pointe.
" Why's there a lizard here?",Justine said.
"I'm gonna lose it if every one keeps calling me that", Mushi said.
I sighed and went to the barre to warm up.
" An ogre dances better than you",a voice I wish I hadn't heard said.
"Do you have my book green boy?", I asked as I jetéd.
" Yah,yah I have it",he said rolling his eyes.
I handed him his wand as he gave me my book.
"You know you don't seem like the girl who would take up dance class", he said.
" You have potential I'll give you that".
For some reason hearing him say that made me happy.
He left the studio.
"Thank goodness he's gone. That boy gives me the heebie jeebies ", Mushi said.
" Shall we dance? ",Justine said.
I smiled," We shall".
