NELSON MANDELA
This man was ripped away
From his home
To live a life apart,
A twillight existence
Of secrecy and rebellion.
A man of colour
Who attempted to live
As a human was
Inevitably punished.
He fought for the rights
Of the Blacks,
Through the period of Apartheid.
He became an idol
For the black rebels.
He later created
The ideal constitution
For the world to appreciate.
