On a breezy July evening with the sun beaming gently on Lauren's face, she had plans to go to her local park. Lauren loved everything about the park; the wagging tails of enthusiastic dogs, the peaceful sound of chirping birds and rustling trees, the feeling of serenity that spread throughout her body as she sat on the park bench.
As she sat there, she hummed to the music playing in her earphones and admired the scenery. That's when someone cleared their throat, "Ahem"
Unfortunately due to the earphones in Lauren's ears, she couldn't hear a thing, so the person reached over and tapped a finger on Lauren's shoulder. Lauren removed the earphones from her ears and looked up at the interruption.
A beautiful brown-haired woman with the most sweet and innocent brown eyes. Lauren was staring at the young woman, she couldn't believe how beautiful she truly was. "Uh sorry did you need something?" Lauren asked.
"Yes," the brunette answered, "there's a pandemic going on, wear a goddamn mask"
and with that she walked away.
