Y/n woke up with the feeling she was sweating. She opened her eyes and noticed that she was still wearing Marty's jean jacket from last night, it also didn't help that wrapped around her was a peacefully sleeping, Marty McFly.
She looked at the man she loved so dearly and smiled. Then she slowly got up from where they slept, doing her best not to wake him up she went to take off the jean jacket.
"Man, this thing needs to be washed," she mumbled to herself. She looked around the room and wondered where her Uncle was, "Uncle Doc?" she asked but there was no one except her and Marty. "Hope you know what you're doing, Uncle Doc?" she said to herself.
Y/n didn't want to button the top part of her corset up just yet, so she left it the way she had it last night. She put the jean jacket on a chair and saw a new gun and gunbelt, wondering where it came from she picked it up. Then she heard Marty's groggy voice, "Morning, doll," he yawned.
She turned around and saw that Marty was awake. "Morning, future boy. Where did you get this," Y/n asked. Marty looked at the gunbelt and gun, "Oh, that gun sales man gave it to me after I said I'd meet Tannen." he said. "Oh," Y/n responded remembering last night's events.
"Hey, Y/n, honey. It's going to be okay, we'll be gone by the time 8:00 rolls around," Marty said, brushing her messy hair away from her neck.
"Watch this," Marty said, he put on the gunbelt and pointed the gun at the mirror, in hopes of cheering Y/n up.
"You takin' to me? You talkin' to me, Tannen? Well, I'm the only one here. Go ahead. Make my day." Marty said to his reflection. Y/n couldn't stop herself from laughing. Marty turned to her, glad he could cheer her up some. "Your ridiclous, you know that, right?" she said, still laughing.
"Yeah, but you love it," Marty said, cheekily. "That I do, future boy," Y/n said. They then got dressed and went into town to find Doc.
Marty was wearing his new gun and gunbelt, him and Y/n walked around arm in arm, looking for Doc, "Where could he be?" Y/n asked her boyfriend. "Maybe he's still at Clara's," Marty trailed off. Then men started to come up to them and told Marty good morning, good luck, they even offered him cigars.
"Good morning, Mr. Eastwood. Interest you in a new suit for tomorrow?" a man said holding a black suit. Y/n and Marty looked at the man, "Uh, I'm fine. Thanks." Marty said, leading Y/n away. As they started walking they saw Doc carrying his jacket and smelling a flower, he looked in love, to say the least.
"Doc!" "Uncle Doc!" Marty and Y/n said. "What are you doin'?" Marty asked him. "Oh, nothing. I'm just out enjoying the morning air. It's really lovely here in the morning. Don't you think?" he asked the two teenagers.
"Yeah, it's lovely, Uncle Doc. We gotta load the Delorean up and get ready to- Marty what?" she said, because Marty was tugging her arm. "Look! It's the tombstone, from the picture you took!" he said to Y/n and Doc.
"Marty, let me see that photograph again" Doc said. Marty handed him the photo. "My name. It's vanished!" Doc said. "What!?" Y/n replied.
"Hey, that's great, Doc! Don't you get it? We're going back to the future tomorrow, so everything's being erased." Marty said.
"But only my name is earsed! The tombstone itself and dates still remain. That doesn't make sense. We know that this photograph represents what will happen if the events of today continue to run their course into tomorrow." Doc said.
Y/n and Marty looked at him skeptically, "Right, so-" they both said. "Excuse me, Mr. Eastwood. I just need to take you measurement." the man from earlier said, now measuring one of Marty's arms.
"Hey, look, pal. He doesn't want to buy a suit," Y/n said annoyed. "No, this is for, his coffin." the man said chuckling. "My coffin?!" Marty said, both Y/n and Marty in shock.
"Well, the odds are running two-to-one against you. Might as well be prepared." the man said walking away, and then Y/n realized something, "So, it may not be Uncle Doc's name that's suppossed to end up on that tombstone. It may be yours." Y/n said to Marty.
Marty put his hand to his forehead and said, "Geat Scott!" Doc went up behind him and replied, "I know. This is heavy."
"Marty, why are you wearing that gun? You're not considering going up against Tannen tomorrow?" Doc asked.
"Doc, tomorrow morning, I'm going back to the future with you and Y/n. But if Burford Tannen comes lookin' for trouble, I'm going to be ready for him. You heard what that son of a bitch called me last night, he even threatened Y/n." Marty said.
Y/n then stopped in her tracks, stopping Marty aswell. "Marty, you can't go losing your judgment everytime someone calls you a name! That's exactly what causes you to get into that acciendent in the future." Y/n blurted out, then covering her mouth with her hand.
Marty looked at her and said, "What? What about my future?" Marty asked.
"She can't tell you. It might make things worse." Doc said.
"Wait a minute, Doc. Y/n, what's wrong with my future?" Marty said, pleading. Y/n didn't know what to say, she hated not telling him.
"Marty, we all have to make decisions that effect the course of our lives. You gotta do what you've gotta do. And I've gotta do, what I've gotta do." Doc said to Marty, walking away.
